I said in this thread or another that an ideal thing to do, only if Brock is sticking around, is go through with the push and have Reigns get help to win at WM, maybe even Heyman turns on him again (they did this 10 years ago too I think).

Double turn at WM, you give Reigns the Rocky Mavia treatment. He doesn't get as exposed with people helping him for a while. He can be the corporate champ or whatever and hopefully improve in other aspects of his craft. And who wouldn't want to see Brock on the warpath after a heel Reigns + whoever's helping him?

Even if Lesnar is leaving you can still do that. Just have that new authority cost Lesnar the title in a way that makes it look like they are setting up for a cash in, then turn on Rollins when the bell rings. You'd still have your corporate champion Reigns, but now Rollins is in the Foley role (and I think he's better as a face that comes out and does cool **** as an underdog than the cocky yet cowardly heel anyways).

I'm not sure that Rollins isn't a natural heel though. If you watch any out of character interviews, that's kind of how he comes off to me. He seems to have a little CM Punk in his personality. Unfortunate that it hasn't translated over to his mic skills cause everything else is there.

Also just thought of this, but how ****ing ironic would it be if DB had to give the Edge speech on a show Edge is hosting.

I like your idea; if they're going to insist on following through with the stupid Reigns Rumble win, then that's the best way they could salvage it.

A difference from the Rocky thing is that Rocky actually built his way properly into the main event level and was ready for it when it happened. He initially got over-pushed, then they pulled the plug and took him off TV. Then he returned with a midcard heel turn, feuded with Faarooq, built up and won the IC Title, feuded with HHH over that, started to get massive face reactions as a heel so he got turned face, and only at that point did they do the whole corporation swerve as they gave him the world title.

This would be far worse because Reigns isn't ready and hasn't gotten the proper slow build. Still, your idea is good and I can totally see it, especially if they're self-aware enough to use lines like you mentioned, that the crowd doesn't know what they want.

It's a shame Ambrose had to film The Marine 6 or whatever and as a result they blew off the Ambrose-Rollins Shield stuff. That story was one that could've been booked slower and longer to a great end imo

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy last night. Bootista wasn't half bad. In fact, he should adopt that persona when he comes back to wrestling. It was good that they had him as part of larger team too. Hid his limitations and he didn't get blown up right away in fights with Super Villains.

This worked really well for Zeus, so why not Bootista?

I kind of want it happen now. Despite the actual story being bad, I absolutely loved the Bootista reaction and watching WWE scramble to make it right. Seeing the WWE do it 2 years in a row would be amazing.
