I keep thinking about this RR fiasco. Who else could be the next face of WWE? imo they should build somebody like Zayn up there. Decent promos and can wrestle exciting 20+ minute matches. I'm not sure who else. Not Dean. Maybe Seth if he turned.

Someone joked that Del Rio took a dive to Cro Cop which sparked this rumor. Entirely unsubstantiated as far as I know.

I've been hearing the rumors that Reigns was going to wrestle for the title at Mania for a long time; Jim Ross has been predicting it on his podcast for quite some time and that may have been where I heard it first. CM Punk said that when he faced the Shield over a year ago just about every person in the company came up to him and told him to make Reigns look really, really good, so they have been trying to build him specifically up for a long time. The one long term plan they have is a foolish one.

I remember the stuff on the podcast from cm punk but I never heard or read anything about roman getting some 15 month title reign. Next few months are gonna be crazy I hope they don't botch the rumble again.

If the E had any sense, they would employ a bit of reverse psychology on the IWC, i.e. have Reigns lose to Sheamus in 11 seconds on Main Event.

Heel Bryan a few years ago was probably better than 2014 Rollins on the mic. Much of the problem lies with how the face of the company is written IMO.

Rock, Bryan, Jericho, Punk and Hogan all have struggled lately when doing face promos today for WWE. Even people like Flair and Nash are exponentially more entertaining on podcasts and Q&As and such than they are in WWE. The writing takes naturally entertaining people and sterilizes them.

Seth has been fine on the mic. He's supposed to be annoying. He was lousy as a face- but fine as a heel. Has been given some **** stuff to work with in the post Authority mess.
