Bianca, Sasha and Drew would be next level down and I guess I would be a little more than "mildly surprised" if they were released this week. (KO, Sheamus and AJ probably in this tier as well)

But, yes, I'd be much more surprised if they released Xavier than if they released Drew.

The Fiend moved a TON of merchandise for them. I can't think of any explanation for how they booked him, and now how they released him, except that Vince hates money.

A friend and I were going over our Mt Rushmore of tag teams and got me thinking we should do some top 10-50 rankings .

Ran out of unique sheep questions, ran out of unique draft criteria, ran out of regular posters.

If you wanted to try to start one you could always post a thread to gauge interest.

It's the regular poster vacuum that's the most significant.

2+2 as a whole isn't gaining a whole lot of new blood. Combine that with WWE being absolutely horrendous for several years now and you have some full days go by without a post.

Meh, context matters - the beachball chant was during his feud vs Woken Matt Hardy (while the crowd had 4 different beachballs going) - that feud stunk and so did their matches

I don't like her tweet. If you don't like what WWE are doing should you not boo it? If WWE then decide to fire someone you like should you not continue to boo them?

It strikes me very much as a 'If you don't like it don't watch it' angle which is very blind to what wrestling means to a lot of people and also, funnily, is what is happening.

I mean, WWE itself had that similar attitude in kayfabe when Jim Ross would scream "if you don't like this country, you can get the hell out!" to every foreign heel bashing America back in the 2000's

She's also assuming it's the same fans doing both things and that's probably not true.

Speaking of great tag teams, unfortunately we've lost one half of one in Bobby Eaton at the too-young age of 62. Have always heard people speak of him as one of the good guys of the industry. RIP.

- Came back for one match after COVID.

- Got a call the next day saying something "was off in his blood."

- Was told it was inflammation of the heart. Wasn't allowed any training or physical activity outside of a light walk. Anything other than that, "there was a chance I could just pass away."

- Had several MRIs on his heart, says he didn't fit in the machines.

- "It became a fight, against death."

- WWE sent him to Pittsburgh to get tested. Almost had to undergo genetic testing.

- The long wait allowed the inflammation of the heart to go down, returning to normal. "Over time things got better here and there."

- Was cleared after that visit to try to "get back into some sort of better shape."

- "We fought death. I don't mind fighting anyone else."

Well this is chilling.

We still have a long way to go before mental health loses its stigma. It's terrifying to think how alone she felt. That livestream clip is haunting. Don't be afraid to reach out when you're struggling, folks. On the flip side, don't be afraid to reach out to someone you know who might be struggling.

Apparently ROH is sort of folding, releasing all talent from contracts and going on hiatus. I don't know the situation well enough to know just how likely it is for that hiatus to be permanent.

Yeah, that's pretty wild to hear. I guess the pandemic did more financial damage than originally thought.
