I went to watch a replay of that rally they just held. Turned it right off when it looked like it had 50-100 fans. I expected it'd be inside an arena with like 1-2k fans or something. I thought they'd want to appear as more than a 2002 ROH show.

The biggest positive of AEW so far to me has been Khan saying he wants the wrestlers to be full time employees with healthcare instead of "contractors". I would absolutely love for a company to treat the talent well on that front.

Rumor Mill: Lars Sullivan was supposed to work with Cena at Mania, but had anxiety attacks before dark matches for Raw/SD and had to go home.

That would really suck if true.

I really don't get the Lars push. He isn't that big to get pushed as a monster on the main roster and is unremarkable in the ring. I can't see how he gets pushed if he's having panic attacks so I assume that's over.

Yeah that was pretty dumb, but seems he might have been a teenager at the time. If we held all the jokes teens (or even adults) made in bad taste against them for the rest of their lives, the entire country would be unemployed. That was some stupid ****, but it was a long time ago.

There's a lot more than that and more recent. There's posts from 2013 of him still saying dumb ****. Racism, homophobia, misogyny and probably liar(claimed to have sex with Ronda). He's the total package. He had 2 accounts on BB and most of the regulars there hated him which says a lot since they are BB regulars.

That would certainly be an acceptable reason for high-tailing it the hell outta there. Having to face Rhonda after that would give anyone anxiety.

But yeah, if these are continual offenses, obviously a different story. WWE has to know about this though, so I wonder.

Cliffs: Dolph rumored to be leaving for AEW though nothing points to him joining AEW except possibly leaving WWE.

I'd like to think Ziggler could do well with a change of scenery. He's a nice middling roleplayer at minimum, but a lot of what has made me disinterested in him in WWE is that it feels like there's little new to explore there.

Yeah, a Cody-like reinvention in the indies would seem to do him some good.

I wonder if this stuff is what's causing the Lars anxiety attack-- finally achieving your dream, but also knowing people are slowly finding your history of being a jerk.

Here's a fun Royal Rumble game I invented last year. I played it with three other people. Here are the rules.

Draw a draft order. When entrant #1 is announced, the person with the first pick can select him or defer. If he isn't chosen then the person with the second pick can, and so on. It's possible everyone passes. When entrant#2 is announced, the highest draft order remaining can pick him or defer. The choice to pick or not has to be made quickly.

Here's the point of the game. You want your pick to be eliminated. Every time your pick is eliminated you score a point and then you get to either pick another competitor currently in the ring who isn't already someone else's pick, or wait to pick a future entrant. You can't ever change a pick. Once you make a pick you are stuck with it until he is eliminated. Most points wins. In case of tie, the tiebreaker is whose final elimination happened soonest.
