DC and Brock have been friends since the 90s. DC is also a huge pro wrestling fan, goes to every WM and even tried out for TNA years ago. DC appearing on WWE TV is a slim chance but not 0% imo. The UFC is a farce these days and WWE is awful so may as well embrace the circus.

I guess brock becomes eligible in January of 2019 to rassle in the UFC, assuming he's compliant in the months leading up to that.

That's what I heard on Post Wrestling with John Pollack and Wai Ting anyway.

Supposedly, NJPW is going to attempt to run a show in Madison Square Garden. Heard that during the G1 press conference (Omega's opening comments).

I got more details so I will add to my earlier post ...

NJPW and ROH will put on a joint supercard at MSG the Saturday before Wrestlemania 35 happens at Metlife Stadium (N.J.) ... ROH has always put on a big card on that Saturday but obviously MSG is a whole other ballgame (and will have to be carried on the strength of NJPW).

In an interview not that long ago, Chris Jericho said that if NJPW tries to do an event at MSG, Vince will squash it. Jericho said this as if he was 100 percent sure of it. That's what led me to write what I wrote.

However, if this supercard does happen, at MSG, and does well (not even a sellout but a very good five-figure crowd with good revenues) ... it may actually be a game changer. NJPW isn't actually going to challenge WWE's No. 1 wrestling company status any time soon, but running occasional USA (and Canada if desired) events in big arenas to sellout or near-sellout crowds would be huge. Clearly the success of All In, as well as other NJPW ventures in California (that Cow Palace show had a pretty good crowd after the worst was feared in the run-up), has allowed NJPW to start thinking big.

This has been building for a year or so, with Okada's being named No. 1 in last year's PWI 500 (not a huge deal, but not insignificant, either), Omega's rise to stardom (with the Meltzer rankings publicity helping), and Jericho's move to NJPW (very significant, maybe more important than Omega's rise).

It will be interesting to see what main events the MSG show. Assuming Omega re-signs after WK13 (and it's hard to believe he won't), it almost has to be another Okada-Omega match. (Jericho has repeatedly said he will not work for anyone other than WWE in the U.S.) I don't know what NJPW is building toward with regard to WK13, but as it stands right now I would want Omega to retain until dropping to Okada at MSG.

Hell, an NJPW MSG show may actually be a bigger deal than WK13 itself.

Pretty amazing stuff to be sitting here and pondering.

From the little reading I've done on the situation, ROH/NJPW was planning this and then Vince got wind of it and attempted to use his influence to keep them out. ROH threatened a lawsuit against MSG and/or Vince to use the venue. It seemed interesting but I didn't have the time to read at the time. Apparently ROH/NJPW is 100% to have the venue now.

I had never actually taken it as though they truly stopped having him in the Hall. I thought he was just removed from the site and that that included the mention of his HOF membership. I thought they would just slip his name back on there at some point without any announcement.

He should've come out with New Day given the color scheme

I wouldn't be surprised to see him tonight.

I'm all for them having Hogan in the Hall, but man I don't want to see much of him on-camera going forward. That opening moment of WM XXX was awesome, but most of his appearances as an old retiree have been pretty rough. Ditto for the likes of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, though it's less surprising with them since neither was ever consistently good on the mic to begin with.

There is no WWE HOF for Hulk Hogan to be removed from or reinstated to. So it's just a complete waste of time.

Holy ****. I thought I had just read something about Lawler being arrested.

Suicide stories are the hardest to take; just very sad for a person to ever get to that place to begin with. Don't know much of anything about Brian Lawler's post-wrestling life, but that's a terrible bit of news.

The others as well of course, though admittedly I'm unfamiliar with Brickhouse Brown. I've got Volkoff as being one participant in the match of the night at the original WrestleMania (Volkoff/Sheik vs. Rotunda/Windham).
