BTW, where is Bo Dallas? He was part of the Miztourage, but wasn't there the last two weeks.

What sort of success are they looking for though? Do they make more $$$ as top guys in B promotions?

Vince finally came to his sense for a few seconds and realized Bo sucks so he cut him from TV.

I'll take a shot at this with almost no info on how WWE handles payoffs. Most of the wrestlers contracted to WWE have a downside guarantee at a little more than 100k, and it might even be a little less. If a talent suck as Cody or Austin Aries who was not on TV every week, and when they are it isn't in a featured spot, moves on from WWE, they can take more bookings with a variety of promotions. If they can book enough one offs with various promotions and, in Cody's case, sign a deal with NJPW and ROH, that money adds up very quickly. I think Aries recently tweeted that he's made more money in the last 5 weeks on the indies than he did in his last 5 with WWE.

I'm sure there is a lot more to it, but I think that is the rough idea of how they can make more

From everything I know, which is probably nothing, being the Young Bucks or Joey Ryan is way better than being a guy on 205 live with no chance of leaving.

Not sure about Joey Ryan but TYB's, Omega, Cody are making bank on the independents. Those guys also get a bunch from merchandise. Aries recently tweeted that he's going to get more working 6 weeks in the indies than he would've in 6 months of WWE. 205 Live crew must make ****. As for confirmed amounts, the guys WWE scooped up in the UK all got signed to just $20k/yr but they can work some shows if given permission and with the incentive of maybe making more some day if WWE actually uses them.

So if they worked in fast food or retail they would make more money ? That’s awful

But how much are they actually working for WWE? Add to that the fact that they have the ability to take other bookings, and it's not as bad as it sounds

I forget the exact number, but Meltzer said there are only a handful (maybe a dozen?) guys in WWE making more than the Young Bucks.

So if you try to parse it, we know that Vince pays his long-time vets a lot more than they are worth. People like Taker, Big Show, Jericho, and Kane. We also know that Lesnar, Cena, and Goldberg all made a ton of money. The Shield is well paid. Vince's children and children in-law make a lot too. You'd suspect that KO and AJ make a lot from their high positions on PPVs. And New Day moves a ton of merch.

But aside from them, Young Bucks possibly make more. What's the range? $500k to $1M?

According to Forbes, Orton is the 10th highest earner in WWE at 1.9 million, so take what you will from that

I take that with a grain of salt because the top guy's contracts aren't disclosed/well known and I'm assuming someone like Orton isn't talking to too many people.

I honestly doubt Aries has a chance at making anything close to YB/Omega/Cody money. YB and Omega especially, they just have more outlets. They get NJPW and ROH money on top of their merch, youtube, signings and other indie shows. Their youtube channel is kind of a rarity, they often get more views than subscribers which is pretty rare for blog type channels. They get 100-200k views each vid and that would add up to a decent amount of ad revenue. They could be getting anywhere from 10-40K a month just from youtube.

AJ was confirmed getting $2.5-$5k an appearance for shows in the US. If YB/Omega are getting that king of money then I think they could break at least $500k a year with all their other ventures. I have no idea what kind of money ROH and NJPW pay though.

The last time i saw a WWE financial disclosure, it had the top talents pay listed on it

Where was it? They don't list them in their annual reports or their financials. The lists on those sites has always been rumors and hearsay, none of them have a source. The only salaries they release are corporate not talent because talent are technically contractors.

This is true.

As Kabong said, they do list Vince's salary along with HHH, Steph, and Shane's. I've seen a listing of the talents pay but it wasn't from one of the official financials, just third hand stuff.

Now I can't remember exactly where it was. It may have been from a PWTorch article that went through the financials. So forget everything I said.

Reigns out of the TLC match...

Quote:
Due to medical issues impacting two WWE Superstars scheduled to appear at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs, streaming live on WWE Network this Sunday, the special event will now feature Kurt Angle competing in a WWE ring for the first time in more than 11 years, as he replaces Roman Reigns. In addition, former WWE Champion AJ Styles will replace Bray Wyatt and face “The Demon” Finn Bálor.
That's from a link on WWE's twitter.

We are also spared the Sister Abigail/Demon match. Bray has meningitis along with Jojo and Bo and probably others in the locker room. That's also what's keeping Reigns out of the match btw.
