Watched the first couple of episodes of Lucha Underground on Netflix, since this forum speaks so highly of it.......Does it get better?

It was cool seeing Johnny Nitro do cool stuff, but for me the commentary team was so bad it ruined it all. It seems like Striker/Vampiro have no business being in front of microphones, and I was shocked to google and find out that they are still doing it in season 3. Both of them were just rumbling idiots.

So, maybe they improve?

There are certainly some clunker episodes in the beginning.

Episode 7 is where it really starts to get good.

Commentary didn't seem to bother me as much as it did for you.

Yes it does get better. Much better. I will give you a heads up about a few things though. First is if you are completely unfamiliar with LU, I will tell you that this isn't a typical wrestling show and promotion. It's more of a drama with wrestling as its foundation. If you stick with it long enough you will see what I mean. Secondly, whatever happens in the backstage scenes is completely unknown by the crowd and announcers. When I started watching that was something that took me a little to grasp.

Also, as annoying as I find Striker and Vampiro separately, I think they work really well together on this show, and are my favorite current announce team

Only way they can salvage the horrible line they have taken with Brock and Goldberg is if the brock/goldberg match goes the way of brock/cena at summerslam 2 years ago.

I don't even think that would work. When Brock/Cena happened, I mean, when have we ever seen a main event championship match like that before? I sure can't recall one. It was shocking. No way a Brock/Oldberg match of the same type (Brock ownage) gets that same reaction.

The only thing I can see salvaging it is an actual decent 6-8 minute match with a couple swings. Which is possible, but unlikely.
