Shouldnt the champ win a non-title match here?

It just seems about time to have Dolph actually start winning since the cashing in is getting closer. Totally ridiculous to have him tap out imo.

Maybe, but del rio is champ. Until someone beats him, he is supposed to be better than anyone else. The whole point of the mitb, is that it can be used by those not as good as the champ to gain an advantage to try to beat the champ, which is a pretty big crutch placed on it

the whc is barely above the intercontinental championship any more

dont most mitb winners go on losing streaks before cash in?

i don't mind adr winning as much as i mind ziggy tapping out. he's probably tapped out to cena before but they should try to start building him as a guy who doesn't quit because he can put on good matches that can go a long distance and that actually makes sense. it's a good way to turn him face (if they're planning to do so).

idk. i only remember bryan's losing streak because the iwc was so irate about it. was cena on a losing streak last year before losing his cash in? ADR in '11? no idea who won in '10.

Punk was one of the two time he won. Maybe both. Edge was involved with the Hardy feud. Kane cashed in same night.

Don't know why I can't think of who else won.

They've put over ADR's armbar pretty damn strongly, with Randy Orton tapping 100% clean to it in the past 2-3 months for one, so no real issue with Dolph tapping to it also. A babyface's submission finisher should rarely be fought out of unless it's a spot where he applies it right by the ropes.

Punk took some losses while holding the briefcase a couple of years ago, lost to Umaga clean on PPV in Chicago I remember, but Swagger cashed in within a week and won and Miz mostly got pushed while having the briefcase.

- WWE will hold WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans' Superdome. A local radio station in New Orleans (via PW Torch) reports that the PPV will be in the Superdome in 2014, the first time WrestleMania has been held there.

An official announcement is expected around the time of the Elimination Chamber, which will take place in New Orleans.

Hmmm, I wonder how the WWE would react if there happened to be a semi-blackout in the middle of the show?

Vince would just restart the match at the Rocks insistence

It's a loldirtsheets rumor, but apparently Bray Wyatt is going to debut tonight since Raw is in his home town. I hope it's true, his character is damn good.

I'm like a week late but there was a blackout at one of the In Your House PPVs (Beware of Dog), and they rescheduled the show for two days later.

True, but...

Hahahaha, like they are going to reschedule the biggest wrestling show of the year.

May not have a choice. They only have the 4 hour slot with the PPV companies before the replay comes on. I don't think they would be able to turn the replay in to overrun, like they do with USA.

Here's some loldirtsheet stuff. LMFAO at Alex Jones being at WM:

>With Ryback losing so many big matches, and him walking out, there’s a tease of a heel turn which would lead to Cena vs. Ryback as a post-Mania program, because Cena needs a new fresh heel.

>While some think going back to Cena vs. Punk after Mania is the natural direction, Vince McMahon has made it clear he’s tired of that program for now.

>The Rock will be off TV for a few weeks as he left on 2/19 for Panama for filming of the new reality show “The Hero,” which he is both producing and hosting. Aside from Mania, he’s booked on 3/4 in Buffalo, 3/25 in Philadelphia and 4/1 in Washington, DC. Right after the 4/8 show in East Rutherford, NJ, his final appearance

>Bruno Sammartino is expected to be a character in the WWE 14 video game in an attempt to draw from an older audience.

>The usual Hall of Fame money is $5,000 to those who get inducted and $2,500 to those who are the presenters. When it came to Sammartino, technically, he’s getting $5,000 for the Hall of Fame, which was what he said when asked. But when he inked the deal, ostensibly to get him to be in the Hall of Fame, the deal was closer to a WrestleMania top star payoff (not top star like Rock, Cena or Lesnar as it’s not anything like seven figures). So basically they didn’t change the scale for the Hall of Fame for him, but really, he is getting significantly more to be part of the Hall of Fame than anyone has to date.

>WWE has contacted Alex Jones, a far right-wing conspiracy theorist radio talk show host whose character the company is somewhat spoofing with Colter to appear in an angle with him at WrestleMania. Jones brought it up on his radio show but didn’t say whether he would do it.
