Daniel Bryan and Kane are on opposite sides of an eight-man tag match in the main event of the house shows leading up to Survivor Series so I don't see that team lasting very long.

supposedly the decision to team them up was a very last second decision (as of this past sunday the plan was kane v bryan at NoC), so can't really take too much from that

JBL's off climbing mountains, don't see him coming back.

Advertised matches for house shows regularly change to fit the story on TV and are rarely good indicators of where stuff is going.

I totally believe them being put together as a tag team was only decided late in the game, partially cos lolwwe its not that hard and partially cos the huge stuff went over huge in the crowd and at home. Like Bryan's title run things seem to have just fallen into place in ways no one could really predict. The fact the prime time players were the number one contenders and seemed likely to take the belts then out of nowhere they just goofed the story with "oh, btw guys, there is another tag team" who then beat them sums up how it was completely outside their plans as soon as last Tuesday.

BTW getting back JBL would be absolutely the right move. Id back Cole and JBL above Regal and JR tbh.

JR/Heyman would be perfect. I wouldn't be surprised if Foley gets the job though.

The last time Foley was on commentary, didn't he decide he'd had enough of being yelled at through a headset, and went off to TNA?

Lol, yeah, basically zero chance Foley goes on the table unless he is given an offer he cant refuse combined with a feeling of obligation to fill in for Lawler if he likes him (no idea if they do get along or whatever).

Josh filling in for a few weeks until they work out a more permanent arrangement is the smart money, surely. Maybe cycle in some talent who they have nothing to do with, like they tried with Miz the week previous.

I'm being 100% seriously when I say this, they should bring in Kevin Nash and have him do color commentary. He knows about the business, and it would just be funny as hell hearing him constantly put himself over.

That sounds far funnier on a conceptual level than I think it would be once we had to actually sit through more than one episode of it.

They took that ****ty anger management idea and ran with it to the point it is the best thing on the shows. Amazing.

So Bryan seriously just turns everything into the best angle in the WWE. First him fueding with Henry as the David vs Goliath type storyline, then he even got a great fued out of Big Show, then he had turned losing in 18 seconds at WM to being the most over guy in the company, then he got a great series of matches out of Punk and developed a cool storyline with AJ helping to get her over, and now he turned what should have been a ****ty one week video segment into a great angle that is helping make the tag team titles matter again. Dude is legit awesome.

seriously. its just sick scary how good he is.

one problem i think he may face in his career is actually being too good at turning **** in to gold, and thus not needing the wwe title, similar to y2j. he basically guarantees to make any midcard/lowercard awesome which not many guys can do.

also random thought: over the past few months the tag team division is actually the 1st or 2nd best in wwe.

If Bryan takes the Y2J role, as you put it, I will accept it.

Because who got more tv time over the last year, the Y2J role, or the WWE Championship?

wwe wants to bring back nexus. to what extent with regards to the members remains to be seen (obv would be a huge step back for bryan/ryback but could be great for others [otunga, slater, black cena])

not sure what the point of this would be for barrett but this would all revolve around him and would push him into the main event
