Ok, just give me a day or two notice before the draft and I should be cool.

What exactly does this entail? Do we make transfers throughout the season or after the draft is that it and we just change our starting lineup each week? Since there is a draft I assume one particular player can only be on one particular team? Sorry, total FF noob here.

Trades can be made after the draft and throughout the season. Also players can be picked up off of the waiver wire (free agents). Yes players are exclusive to one team at a time.

Ok cool, thanks. Putting together my draft board now. This is on ESPN.com right? I tried to sign up there but teejayc was already taken so my username will be different from here.

Another noob question, do we play against individual teams each week and get 3 points for a win 1 for a draw (or whatever), or is it just total number of points scored at the end of the season.

Also what does HOLDOUT mean?

These will be my last questions, I promise.

It's head-to-head, you notch a win, loss, or on rare occasions a tie and that goes on your record.

Holdout means the player has not yet reported to training camp and is trying to hold out for a restructured contract. Sometimes holdouts last into the season and the player misses games. A player is arguably a bigger injury risk if he hasn't gotten close to a full camp under his belt either.

(The questions are no problem.)

Surely this "handegg" moniker is going to go out of style at some point.

It seemed that people were implying earlier ITT that there are 10 spots (which are now filled), but as far as I can see there are 12 spots total, so 2 still available. If you PM Judy (wesrwood) with your email address he may or may not be able to add you.

We should do something like the winner gets to change the avatar of the person of his choice (has to be in this obv) for a month or something. No way to enforce it but if everyone agrees it should be fine.

Yeah, you can't really ask for that though, like LKJ has said.

Judy has probably asked for a Christmas bonus before.

I totally think it's in the best interest of the league to have a booby prize that disincentivizes finishing in last place. People lagging behind, especially in a free league, tend to bail and neglect their team, which makes things unfair.

Definitely think winner should be able to pick the avatar of the last place finisher.
