Sting and Andre were my next two. I probably should have took Andre but I took a huge risk and hoped he'd drop since he usually gets a bit undervalued, and I thought more people would be targeting Punk but apparently not.

I originally had Sting pencilled in ahead of Punk but i think Punk has the potential to be bigger than Sting if he isn't already. Good pick though, great longevity.

Triple H is good value here but I didn't really want him.

I had not thought of this until now, but Punk has many parallels to a young (early 90s) Sting. During promos, both can simply go out and do there thing and appeal to their audience rather naturally without great need for scripting/writing. In ring, while impressive in some ways, they aren't in the GOAT discussion. Both sell merchandise better then others in their company, but neither company that they were the face of was peaking at the time they were around.

I think Sting is way safer of a pick in this. If it's true that Punk's segments are losing ratings right now, I just don't know that the merch sales are convincing me of that much. I think Sting has definitely had a bigger career and I'm pretty unconvinced that Punk will reach that level.

punk strikes me as a 4th rounder tbh. yes theres big upside but seems way too early to be going to be going for the high risk high reward kinda pick.
