I have to say I was disappointed in Lex Luger's Wrestling With The Devil due to it not having enough details on his wrestling career for me.

But I really enjoyed Shawn Michaels' book.

HHH's newest DVD, Thy Kingdom Come, is actually really good and did a lot to make me reconsider the way I think about the Game. It's the best WWE documentary I've seen in a long time and talks about and shows a lot more of his backstage role than I expected. It's on Netflix fwiw.

Daniel Bryan is going to write a book.

Hopefully, he actually writes it and it isn't ghost written, but I will probably pick it up anyway.

I guess Foley set the bar pretty high and didnt Jericho write his books himself too? Jericho's third book is coming out soon btw, September I think

Hope Jericho includes more parentheticals about words he thinks are cool.

I just finished Bret Hart's book. Interesting enough to keep me going, but I cant really recommend it. Maybe 3 of 5 stars. Poorly written and he is whining A LOT. He keeps telling that Bret Hart is the white knight and saviour of wrestling and that everybody else is evil and inferior.

There were quite a few people in that book that he spoke really highly of. I was pretty surprised to see him be so complimentary of Lex Luger, since nobody seems to like Lex.

I haven't read many wrestling books. Just that Bret book, which I thought was good, and one of Jericho's books, which I thought was just okay. Probably a big leak that I haven't at least read anything by Mick Foley.

Also haven't really watched many wrestling DVDs.

You HAVE to read the first Foley book.

As a massive Bret Hart fan, I can say that the section of the book that chronicles his WWF run is worth the reading, and the rest of it is a solid meh.

This. His second one is good as well, but the first is a must.

I've heard that. If I can find it in a used book store or something, I'll pick it up. But it's not something I will go out of my way to find like I did with the first one.

Also, skip the Rock's book. It does start out strong with stories from his childhood and football career, but after that it becomes a frustrating read as he starts writing in third person like he's cutting a promo.

I loved the whole book. The last few chapters may be some of the best.

Reading the new Jericho book right now, about 1/3 in. Overall solid, but so far it seems that it is his weakest book (by far).

Even I am getting annoyed now by the repetitive self-promotion of his books (and other stuff), and his "big words". And I am only 1/3 in...

Slightly OT, but in case someone is interested: Mick Foley's documentary "I am Santa" is available on Netflix. It follows 5 Santas during their off-season.

I stopped 25 minutes in though. Thought it was stupid and boring (despite the good rating on Netflix);
