Just watched it few hours ago and I really, really loved it. Probably going to re-watch it first thing tomorrow.

Well, still watching the documentary, and there's an interesting surprise. I did not think that Samoa Joe would get a mentioned here, since he's working with TNA, but he did since they had to cover some of Punk's 2004.

Which leads to this question, would Joe's career get a reshot in the arm if he joined WWE? I mean Punk's doing well, Bryan's doing well, if Joe is willing, the trifecta would be there.

watched the first minute or so and that would also be my guess. can't be too many words on the left hand side of the screen throughout.

Well, finished the documentary, won't make any other comments other than its pretty darn good, but some of the thoughts that were spoken at the end were somewhat bittersweet. I mean, do you guys see something, in your honest opinion, that certain aspects of the product has been changing, since MITB 2011?

It did elevate Punk to a new stratosphere. Little doubt of that. They pretty well bungled the aftermath, but have ultimately been successful in putting Punk up toward Cena's level as his clear #2.

That's true since everyone around 2007 saw Orton has #2, but his suspension and some rather lackluster feuds like with Kane, and the fact that he's going to leave to shoot for a movie ranks him down below Punk.

Pardon my ignorance, but how can somebody get a hold of a documentary/movie that hasn't been released to the public yet?

Great documentary, but I don't think it's the best ever like some people have been saying. That title goes to the Stone Cold documentary.

I liked it. Not the GOAT like mentioned above but it's impossible to not like and cheer for the guy after watching that.

Wow just watched the SCSA documentary on Netflix. Absolutely amazing job by everyone apart of it! Seems like the stuff that he did off-air at the end of his career while the "Commissioner / GM" was priceless. I just hope that there is that "one more match" some time in the future, and if there isn't I think everyone should be ok with it just as long as he stays connected with the company.

Hats off to the WWE on this one.

Random employees/distributors giving copies to friends/leaking it themself/stupidity and selling it before the release date (Walmart near me was selling Halo Wars 5 days before the actual release date)

As far as I know most movies/games/etc are shipped out to distributors week(s) in advance to ensure they have them for the release date

I haven't caught of glimpse of this story yet, but this is an interesting and touching story from one of the extras in Punk's DVD. I found this off a review.

Quote:
Back to Natalie (Punk's ex-girlfriend and still long-time friend) as she decides to become a vegan, and Punk supported her even though he was hammering down a lot of protein. She made some nasty vegan salmon steak one night, and Punk choked it down to keep her from crying and to make her happy. Basically he will do anything to keep the women in his life from crying. Deep down he is a big softie.

Stone Cold's attitude era story mode in WWE 13 is only 7 chapters. Thank God I didn't waste my money.

Vs. Road Dogg on Raw.

Vs HBK at WM 14

Then, you unlock two bonus matches. Both are Undertaker vs Kane. With the second match being their inferno match at Unforgiven.

Two matches vs Dude Love (Unforgiven, Over the Edge)

That's it.

The cutscenes are neat, but still.

The entire story mode is on Youtube:

The more research I do on this, the more I think (hope) I'm wrong. It appears that each character's story is divided into parts, and the first part of Austin's story ended with his matches vs Dude Love.

I know nothing about the WWE '13 video game but it seems to me not having the Austin/Bret WM13 submission match in the story mode is a horrible oversight.

Royal Rumble on the SNES was the best wrestling video game. The N64 ones were cool too though.

I got WWE 12 but it wasn't particularly good so probably won't bother with this one.

(And by not particularly good, I mean not good enough to play ahead of other games. The game was fine I guess, although I wasn't a fan of the story mode (get to a certain point in a match then press a button and the computer does the rest for you...). Universe mode was decent enough though.)

Meh, his match on RAW against Road Dogg was far more iconic.

WCW vs. NWO games for the N64 slaughter Royal Rumble/WrestleMania for the SNES.

WWF No Mercy > All.

And yes, Stone Cold's Attitude Era mode stops after his matches against Dude Love. You think that's bad? The Rock's is even worse. All you do is fight your way into the Deadly Games Tournament, and it ends after Vince helps you beat Mankind at Survivor Series.

They were technically better games but I just remember having a blast on Royal Rumble as a kid and felt like giving it a shout out.

No Mercy was even better than the WCW vs. nWo games though like Dylan E08 said.

No Mercy was the perfect wrestling game. The match types, the move sets, the story mode actually took story lines from the actual show and put them in the game, create a wrestler was super deep, you had the ability to go backstage and bust up ****. I would say the closest they have came to making another game like that was Smackdown Shut your Mouth and Here Comes the Pain. No other game has been close.
