I hope the Punk documentary and the non-wrestling contents is going to be at least on par with the Edge documentary earlier this year. As for the matches, well, they look to be solid, though I wished for some ROH stuff, ala like the Benoit dvd where they had New Japan stuff, but disk three will make the DVD a freeroll anyway.

I'm not much of a Punk fan, but that set has some great matches. I might have to pick it up.

Reading Jericho's second book now, am a good bit into it.

*His constant use of the apparent slang term "froot" is awful and makes me want to punch babies.
*His parentheticals are not as clever or funny as he thinks they are.
*All of his Fozzy stuff is completely boring, and I'm just going to skip over anything further about them.

The rest is definitely still good and entertaining stuff though.

Reading Stone Cold's book, "The Stone Cold Truth", and its pretty funny in some sense on where he and The Rock came up with their match at WM 17 (which by most people, obviously, as one of the most anticipated matches of all time as well as one of the best).

They came up with the structure of the match in a private room of a steakhouse in Houston with their respective road agents for numerous years (Pat Patterson and Jack Lanza). Just had some steaks and drinks, and came up with a match that is going to be the main event and is going to be witness by a 68,000 live audience in a stadium with millions more watching on TV in the Greatest Wrestlemania of all time.

Here are the listings for the Brock Lesnar DVD. And for a guy that has a WWE career for around two years or so, its pretty decent.

Quote:
DISC 1
The night after WrestleMania XXVIII, Brock Lesnar made a shocking return to the ring and leveled John Cena with an F-5, sending a message that after eight years, the pain is back! In 2002 and 2003, The Next Big Thing brought it to the biggest and baddest competition in WWE, becoming the youngest WWE Champion of all time and a household name virtually overnight. His awe-inspiring physique, amateur championship pedigree and affinity for punishing opponents made him an unstoppable force in the ring. Now, after years of dominating the MMA scene, Brock is back and looking to steamroll the biggest Superstars of today. This rerelease of the 2003 DVD, Here Comes the Pain, includes the original documentary that chronicles Brock's meteoric rise to fame, as well as six hours of additional matches not included on the original DVD! Plus, hear Brock's controversial comments upon his return to sport entertainment! . Fans can experience classic matches against Hulk Hogan, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and many more!

Finally watched "The Monday Night War" which was released on DVD in 2003, I think. Cool DVD.

WWE is starting to look somewhat like WCW did in its dying days. Not good. Too bad TNA has no money.

As much as I gripe about the current product, I really don't think it's anywhere near the level of late WCW. The absurdity level is just nowhere near.

At least WWE never resorted to an AJ on a Pole match during the Punk/Bryan/Kane feud.

I bet they were very very close to resorting to that for some reason. Oh boy, if that took place in the Russo age, oh my.

Ok. Back to the actual discussion

I'm about half way thru a MEGA shoot interview with Chris Hery(Kaiuss Ohno). I it about 7 hours long, covering everyone from his start in wrestling, up to just before he landed in WWE.

Really good stuff

Just watched the latest Stone Cold DVD on Netflix Instant, The Bottom Line. One of the better ones, surprised they not only mentioned Benoit, but showed a lot of his match with Austin for the title back in 2001 (one of, if not the best ever match on Smackdown IMO).

All right, watching it now, but I'm having this problem where part of the sides of the video are getting cut off, and you will notice this in the beginning, I guess its a way to do this without the WWE closing it down?
