My first thought was to rand Sting to a roster in place of a third pick, but then remember littlekeed expressed interest.

Anyway I'm not giving up on therightdeal just yet.

Yeah Brock is a bit of a stretch, but I have a pretty good plan on how to use him to maximize the most out of his short time.

Did Andre work very few dates or something of that nature? Using that drawing methodology that Teejay mentioned earlier about Bret Hart, he only was one of the top 3 draws in wrestling twice and never was first in a given year even though he was in a federation that very often drew 10k+ fans (the methodology favors wrestlers that happened to be in that promotion as it is largely based on number of cards the wrestler was on that drew 10, 20, 30k plus fans).

Fwiw I'm not a huge fan of that list, I just like using it to lol at Bret since disko brought the list up in the first place.

He might not have been booked to main event the most amount of shows that drew 10k+ fans, but Andre is a legit crossover star who would bring casual fans and maybe even some non-wrestling fans to my product.

Doing a bit of research I have seen people mention the Flair, Hogan, Terry Funk, etc. did wrestle a lot more matches than Andre. Nevertheless, he's a great pick. He wrestled in two of the most watched matches in history and undoubtedly was a great attraction for many years.

Yeah I've definitely heard it mentioned that he was more of a special attraction rather than a guy who would perform 3 times a week but that's totally fine with me. He will at least appear on most episodes of my weekly show and when he does have a match it will be more of an occasion than if he was in action every week.

It's just ridiculous how insecure he is. Having to leech off of everybody's pops. Killed the Summer of Punk. Now coming into Bryan's spotlight. Not that I think he'll stop Bryan's momentum but it's ridic that the show revolves around him and he needs to have some pops to fluff his ego.
Solid first round pick imo.

That's referring to HHH, iso took him at #7 overall.

Thought you were referring to punk

Now that you mention it, I didn't love the Punk pick. I took him in the second last time but he's not really done that much since then and it looks as though his career is pretty much over at this point.

Hard to deny he's a draw as a heel or face though. I kind of wish I'd have chosen Bret but I was in a rush/busy at the time and didn't want to hold the draft up.

SRM skipped in about 5 min, gs3737 will be up. Just keep the draft going for now, if rightdeal hasn't caught up before his next pick I'll do something.

Fun fact - between them, my first two picks have held the WWE title three times, for a total period of one day.

No write up as of now, want to keep this moving.

As an outsider, I got to say finally.

I wanted Dusty. Not much beats a guy who was 100 pounds overweight that could wrestle for an hour several times a week including high flying such as doing dropkicks off the top rope. Plus he got a bicycle.

I came really close to taking Dusty. Probably the best value pick of the draft so far.

I was really hoping Dusty would fall to me, but since he didn't I'm going with...

The man they call Vader.

One of the truly great big men in wrestling history, also capable of some truly impressive aerial manuevers as well. He had a long career and was utilized well in WCW and even moreso in Japan, though I didn't think he was used well in his WWF run in the mid-to-late 1990's. He's a guy I can get a couple big feuds with Hogan out of as well as be a title-holder in his own right.

Think if we go down to 12 teams the fairest thing to do is auction sting off. Whomever surrenders the highest picks for him gets him?

I'd rather someone take over the rosters if someone drops out. I guess we could figure out what to do with Sting but Austin would be more problematic. Anyway both rightdeal and SRM will get until their next scheduled picks to catch up, at which point I'll find someone to take over and catch up if they haven't appeared. They'll probably be at a bit of a disadvantage but not too much as long as they don't fall further behind.

I would still just vote for disinventing Sting from existence.

Reach IMO. Serious longevity issues.

Dusty was on my radar and I ended up on Funk just for versatility reasons.
