I hate Bret more than anyone on this forum and even I agree with this. Not having Austin is just absolutely crazy, that'd be like not having Hogan.

I mean... here are the facts if you don't have Austin on your card:

★ WM 13 was horrendous
★ Bret doesn't have that many amazing WM matches
★ This match isn't for a title
★ It is arguably the #1 match of all-time

You just put it on your card for free basically! (Unless you went a different way with Austin but I am not talking to those people because they still have Austin ON THEIR CARD somewhere.)

that is a fine choice for his opponent as well. both of those matches are 5 stars easy. even Meltzer thinks so and he has only given like 6 WWE matches 5 stars. i briefly considered that match but again i still had Austin on the card since he is kind of the GOAT and all....

and sorry by #1 i meant #1 Wrestlemania match.... mostly because of how important it was in addition to being 5 stars. certainly not #1 match of all-time and probably not WWE but certainly in the runnning!

I have to draw the line here, I'm spending way too much time on this. Going with card number (lucky) seven. I think the only guys I didn't get on the card that I really wanted to were Foley and Owen.

I'm pretty sure I'm missing (by choice) a couple of the "obvious stud" matches, but I think it ends up with a better balanced card overall this way -- and really, the "second bests" for a couple of these are also pretty amazing.

This seems to revolve around which way you want to go with a few particular wrestlers, and filling in blanks from there.
