I don't mind if Night 1 goes until midnight, but not thrilled about the prospect of night 2 going that late.

For a match with a completely telegraphed finish that was pretty good

Match was fine. Happy for KO and Sami.

It was a good final spot, and the post-match moment feels really cool. Glad for Sami and KO to get this.

The rest leading up to this was mostly just an Undertaker Mania match with different wrestlers.

Final match was good but the result was both predictable and quite boring. A Jay-turn (or any other twist) would've been a lot more interesting.

Charlotte and Rhea by far the highlight of this evening - past 6 am here now so good fight, good night all

Man, what a difference nowadays, we use to get 60-80 to over 100 people in here for a Wrestlemania and it was struggling to get to even 20 people at one time in this thread.

To be fair that seems to be more emblematic of 2+2 dying

WWE seems to be as popular as it’s been in a long ****ing time

Combination of factors, really. Their long-term passive decision to submit to crippling artistic rot also cause most of us who remain to be less than enthused much of the time. But yeah the erosion of posting volume is really not specific to this subforum.

Haven't watched any of the build to this mania, first time tuning in since the Royal Rumble. Pretty great night. Seth/Logan, Dominik/Rey and the final 2 matches were all good or better.

2 nits of the evening:

-I know WWE is always gonna do their product placement shill garbage, but the cinnamon toast crunch bit really cheapened what was a really hot and serious feud. Why not pick a different match for that?

-Both the performers and the production team need to be better about hiding spot calling. Cameras/mics are so good now, we caught KO/Sami/Usos audibly calling spots one too many times in that main event.


This is interesting to me. When I saw the full card listed my immediate thoughts were that Night 1 looked way more appealing to me than night 2. And now having watched 1, I'm even less enthused about tonight.

Mostly agree with this.

Drew/Sheamus/Gunther and Bianca/Asuka should be good to great. Obviously interested in the last match.

Don't care much at all about the other three announced matches, and will probably care even less about the unannounced match(es) that are added.
