I loved that. Really cool to see Cesaro get a singles match and be popular in front of a Mania crowd like this. Wonder how far this push takes him.

Seth's new heel gimmick is also so much better than the Messiah thing. He's good at just being an annoying dickhead.

Cesaro/Seth was fantastic. They really told the "Cesaro taking advantage of his first opportunity at a Wrestlemania singles match" story well. Good on Seth for putting him over like that.

Yeah, I mean I don't like Apollo from what I've seen. It's more that I just wanted reassurance that Big E still has a singles push going. (I was also unaware for a moment that he was now IC Champion.)

Omos will probably be just fine at some basic spots. He's been at the PC and I doubt they would put him in this position if he was a complete disaster.

I will say the story of this match is weird, where the New Day want to keep the multi-time champ AJ Styles in the ring instead of facing the rookie who (in kayfabe) has never had a match.

It's incredibly jarring for a number of reasons. First of all Styles isn't even trying to fight he's just cowardly trying to get to the corner when Styles should be considered stronger than these two (at the least Xavier). Also, the faces The New Day are cowardly begging the ref to keep Omos out of the ring and taunting him as they beat up on Styles? Very strange.
