He's been the best in the company almost by far for awhile now, and neither 50 yo Edge, or a super rushed Daniel Bryan storyline are worthy of unstrapping him. WWE needs to build up a face and a good story, until then, THE TRIBAL CHIEF should continue to run things.

They actually got it right. Edges shoulders were on the mat also, so he couldn't get credit for a cover. Good work by Roman to make sure of it.

Lol you can't avoid the mega-sized comp generated logo above the ring and commentator shout outs smack bang in the middle of the matches and that's another thing that has sickened me about modern WWE

Grunch. Generally watching only the Rumble and Mania nowadays. Thought night 1 was vastly superior to night 2. I couldn't get into second night at all. The weird ending to the first match really sucked the excitement out for me. That plus maybe some just fatigue from so much wrestling.

Yeah, I feel like it's been awhile since we had a long reign of terror in WWE. The response to Roman tonight was promising... they can make him the most hated heel in forever, and then let the fans fantasize about who can finally beat him as guys like Cesaro, Big E, or whoever come up just short. I love stuff like that. Roman has also been pretty good at elevating his opponents even while beating them.

Also, I like the double pin now that it's clear there isn't any ambiguity to it and it wasn't some weird angle they were going for.

Sounds to me like a rule that sometimes exists and sometimes doesn't but it is nice to see that they had actually thought about it.

Why is Rhea Ripley a "potential star?" She is not good on the mic and she's super awkward in the ring. I just don't see it at all. It's all because of how she looks and because she is semi-strong?

Big E and Cesaro would be the 2 real guys in the company that should be legitimate contenders to challenge Roman Reigns at either SummerSlam or a major event next year.

I feel Jey Uso versus Roman will come at some point. I'm less intrigued by that.

One of the best looks in all of wrestling. She's someone who grabs attention and just looks like a big deal/celebrity. She's fine on the mic and very good in the ring generally, though not in a flashy way. She's really good at selling, facial expressions, etc, especially for her age. And I think she is already fine on the mic, and again she is super young.

I don't think last night was one of her better matches, partially because she is miscast as a heel. Her match against Charlotte at last Mania was probably the best match of the event and it wasn't because she was being carried.

IIRC, I also thought Becky Lynch did back when this forum thought she was the worst of the horsewomen and we know how that turned out.

But yes, clearly this woman who they put the belt on her first match on the main roster has no superstar potential. I'm crazy for thinking that.

I'm catching up now - about 2/3 of the way through the KO/Samy match on replay everything looks like its running at around 120-150% speed. Sound seems kind of ok but everything just looks strange and it's really making it feel weird to watch. I've made it a little into the next match, Riddle vs Seamus and it's still going on.

Any one else feeling this or am I going crazy?
