kinda surprised there isn't a thread yet, but whatever
the venue:
the card:
Divas Battle Royal
the first of 2 "EVERYONE GETS A PAYCHECK!" matches. this will suck because it always does
Predicted Winner: CM Punk Chants
The Andrew the Forgotten Memorial Battle Royal Match
the second of 2 "EVERYONE GETS A PAYCHECK!" matches. this will suck because it always does and everyone people actually care about is on the main card. nonetheless, may as well use this correctly this time as an opportunity to give a push and having wyatt dominate this match would be a pretty good option
Predicted Winner: Bray Wyatt
The Miz vs Damien Mizdow
man sandow is ****ing incredible. he's been saddled with the ****tiest gimmicks, inexplicable de-pushes and yet every time he's given an inch he takes that **** a ****ing mile. i never would have imagined this match not only being on a wrestlemania card but me actually giving a **** about it but between miz doing his best heel work since his wwe title run and mizdow being just awesome, here we are, and here i am really looking forward to what should be a pretty fun blowoff. no idea where mizdow branches off from here but i have every confidence it'll be solid
Predicted Winner: Mizdow
United States Championship: Rusev (c) vs Roman Reigns
reigns has been pretty damn over since the shield and the wwe has been slowly building him up, which makes sense cuz this guy is almost certainly a main eventer down the road. giving him the US title in the same manner as cena back in wrestlemania 20 is the logical next step towards elevating him to the top. i don't expect much for the match and it sucks to take the belt off rusev who's been such a great and dominant heel thus far but roman needs to take the next step
Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns
Golddust vs Stardust
again, a feud i never would have guessed i would have given a **** about. i thought stardust was just an idiotic gimmick and have always hated golddust, but man, stardust since he turned heel has been outstanding and golddust somehow has turned in his best work ever. maybe not being comic relief goes a long way, idk. i expect a really good match here as a walkoff for golddust but ultimately stardust wins
Predicted Winner: Stardust
Dean Ambrose v Seth Rollins, Hell in a Cell
since the breakup of the shield this has been BY FAR the best feud in the company. it's carried ppvs and will very likely be the match of the night. it needs a proper blowoff and there's no gimmick more suited for it than HIAC. let there be blood and absurd spots
Predicted Winner: Dean Ambrose
John Cena vs Triple H, Last Man Standing
cena vs the authority is getting pretty tiring but whatever. triple h matches these days usually deliver when they do happen and this could be a good way to bridge the next authority vs feud. maybe randy orton or reigns joins up with cena. idk. anyway, should be a good match, would suck so much if cena wins but i'm gonna guess he doesn't
Predicted Winner: Triple H
Sting vs Undertaker
sure, this match would have been a whole lot cooler if it happened 4 years ago or whenever it was when sting was first SERIOUSLY rumored to be coming to the wwe (when they ran those johnny cash vignettes that might have been for sting) but better late than never. i'm not expecting **** out of this match but there's something to be said for the nostalgia of it all! the streak's already over so sting winning wouldn't be as absurdly wasteful as it would have been otherwise so no harm in sting going over here
Predicted Winner: Sting
WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs Daniel Bryan
Personally, I found Bryan winning the Rumble pretty 'meh'. The whole 'underdog overcoming the odds' shtick is pretty tiresome by now. It's too formulaic and predictable. Typical Vince, taking a good thing (the Yes movement) and ramming it down our throats to the point of turning it heel. If Bryan goes over Lesnar, I know I won't be alone in cancelling my network subscription.
Sting and Taker would've been a money match 10 years ago, but now it's just sad. Two out-of-shape old guys in makeup and spandex working a match. It's an unedifying spectacle. Surely if they are to be used at all, it should be to put over younger talent who can actually 'go'.

Anyway, I wish the rumble and wrestlemania would be de-linked which would allow them to have surprising rumble winners (who could still get a title shot but not at wm the biggest event of the year)
A WWE fan was reportedly removed from today's WrestleMania Axxess event after he scaled the Elimination Chamber and sat on the top shouting "boo Reigns on Sunday".
WWE Superstar Fandango who was signing autographs at the time took his phone out to take a photo.
Some reports note that the fan was arrested.
