fwiw I think it was Chavo or Regal that said this on Jericho's podcast a couple of years ago. Possibly on Austin's but fairly sure it was Jericho's.

The Eric Bischoff podcast with Conrad is a fun and easy (E) listen to.

Cliffs:
Kurt's doing a gimmick of challenging Tough Enough contestants to real fights.
Puder accepts.
Puder almost has Angle in a full Kimura.
The refs realize that Angle's about to lose and count Puder out on the mat despite his shoulders not really being down.
Two months later, Puder's in the Rumble and is legit beaten down by Eddie, Benoit, Bob Holly via the hardest chops you'll ever see. It's ugly.
Puder's gone afterward.

I definitely recommend checking out TLF's part 1 of that episode for the full story.
Damn that's crazy. Why would they not just get rid of him immediately instead of letting him have the chance to sabotage an event like the RR?

Will never stop surprising me that any serious fan really feared HHH going over Taker at WM XXVII. Surprised to hear that JP took the possibility that seriously.

My chronological TLF listen is finally getting somewhat near its end, though I then have to go back and fill in the AWA stuff.

I feel the same when people speak/spoke that way about WMXXX when he faced Bryan. JP does it in that episode too.

Have to admit that I left the slightest room for possibility in my head about HHH-Bryan too.

Biggest thing for me with HHH-Taker is that I figured by that point that Taker probably had reasonable veto power over his streak and would not be agreeable to letting HHH do it, though I also doubt that it's anything that HHH actually pushed for.

When it comes to HHH-Bryan, I could just see HHH and Vince enjoying the idea of executing the ultimate cheap shot at the internet nerds who like Bryan so much. Granted that I definitely thought that Bryan would very likely win, but I do remember getting nervous during the match.

I thought the first 40 minutes of the latest episode (Fite presents...) was really lacking. From 40-end was hilarious.

"I don't want them to sound like human beings, I want them to sound like a brand" is immediately one of my new favorite Lapsed Vince quotes.

I finally hammered out the entire TLF catalog. That is an incredible number of hours of listening.

I look forward to new releases by them going forward, but I also look forward to diversifying my podcast listening. I’ve been listening to that **** almost exclusively for a while.

plz to give suggestion for a funny podcast if you come across one or many.

Jack said at the beginning that you'd never need to listen to another cast again about SummerSlam 2005. He was certainly correct about that. a 5.5 hour part 1. Incredible info for someone like me who was lapsed at this point and hilarious.

I thought a fair bit of the Matt/Lita stuff dragged. Have to admit I learned something though, as I didn’t realize that the Edge/Lita IRL stuff had already flamed out when they got together on-screen.

I agree about the Matt/Lita/Edge stuff. It was possibly the first time I've skipped a bit on the cast (besides e-mails) because of boredom. By the time they got to Matt calling in on Byte This, I'd had enough and skipped to the next part.

I also had no idea about them not being a thing when on screen. I didn't realize that there was 11 months between Matt being fired and coming back. I thought it was much quicker, like 3 months or less.

Any time they mention Eddie on this show is so damn depressing.

Ha Really? Had no idea. Pretty fair bit of acting on both their parts to be able to tap into that and make a compelling couple after breaking up

I’m really behind on all of my podcasts but I decided to fire up the SS 2005 podcast. As great as Lapsed Hogan was here, I think I have discovered something I like even more. Lapsed Vince is great but when they do a skit and Lapsed Vince is the normal one,it cracks me up. I will have to say that I disagree with them on Shawn’s performance. They said he played it pretty straight with the exception of the big boot bump at the end. He was bumping like a clown for that entire match.

I’m also really looking forward to their World Class journey that is coming up.

Lapsed Vince bullying JR into blurting out “Hogan is a racist” in mid-match without any context had me in tears. Hardest I’ve laughed at TLF in a while.

Also very much looking forward to the WCCW journey. They do history so well.

Vince actually adding "damn it" to the end of some of his sentences during that "Hogan is a racist" bit was pretty great too. Way ott and I almost threw the time stamp itt yesterday for it because it was so great. It's at 3:24:50-3:27:15 for anyone reading who wants to listen

Someone mentioned WMIII on TLF's Twitter so I've been listening since then. Got to WMV and I'd forgotten this gem: Tim always wanted Jack/JP to create Osama Bin Laden in No Mercy for him. Eventually they did. Then they had a 3-way ladder match vs. Big Bossman and vs. Akeem. Akeem and BBM on the ladder fighting for title and Osama knocks them down to which Tim proclaims "Osama knocks down The Twin Towers for a second time!!!!". My goodness.

I'm on VI now. Perhaps I'm in the minority here but I enjoyed the opening to VI because it's way ott.

I've finished the first two episodes of the WCCW journey. Kinda good. Not off to the start that the AWA journey had though. However, there's a story at the end of part one that's possibly the funniest story ever told on TLF. Story's from 3:52:00ish-3:55:15.

I agree with the lukewarm assessment. It's been fine, but nothing special so far. Will keep listening and hoping it improves.

I’m about halfway through part 1 of part 1 and I think while Lapsed Fritz is underperforming right now, I see a huge upside in him. I’m talking top 3 all time characters kind of upside

I’m thinking about with regards to them having Lapsed Fritz drive his kids to suicide. As dark as that is, it could be really funny

After finishing the first installment of WCCW journey, my thoughts have changed a little. I enjoyed it, but I can understand why you guys thought it was lacking. It was a lot heavier on the “world building” than most of their casts, and sometimes it isn’t the most exciting. I do feel that there is plenty of meat on the bone for these guys to hit it out of the park however.

Most of my thoughts have changed regarding Lapsed Fritz. While I still enjoy him, it feels like they are going to go in a different direction with him than I thought. And with that said, I’ll withdrawal my previous claim about him having top 3 potential and will wait and see what they do with him
