Fun fact. CZW's original headquarters/training academy was right around the corner from my first pizzeria.

I only watched RAW regularly for a short time (during the regrettable Anonymous GM Phase). The one booking decision that stood out to me as noteworthy terrible during that time was Rey Mysterio winning an 8-man tournament for the WWE Title, then having a title reign of 10 minutes before getting squashed by Cena.

Overseas and can't do write ups but here's the notes I have on my phone. Great draft everyone.

# Everything David Flair did in WCW #

# Hermie Sadler and Brian Christopher are faces in TNA by being racist to R-Truth #

- TNA first episode ever, taped in Alabama, Hermie Sadler comes out to massive pops, Ron Killings then comes out to massive heat(remember it's the first ep, there's no backstory, only reason he is getting heat is because he's black). Hermie and Ron go back and forth with racial digs, Hermie says no one can take Ron seriously because of how he's dressed, this brings out Brian Christopher who is dressed like a black guy but gets a pop because he's not actually a black guy. Christopher continues the racism. Segment ends with Sadler and Brian Christopher saying "my people is going to kick your people's ass"

# JR colonoscopy #

- JR needs a colonoscopy in real life, Vince turns it into a "comedy" segment for no reason at all.

# Katie Lea and Paul Burchil incest #

- Katie really loves her big brother

# Vince/Trish/Linda #

- Vince drugs his wife for about 2 months straight.

# Eve/Cena/Ryder #

# Test/Steiner/Stacy #

- Test is Stacy's abusive boyfriend, Steiner sticks up for her at first and then turns on her and they become an abusive team. They also farted on her.

# Vince mocking JR to Hornswoggle #

# Hassan/Undertaker #

- The terrorism thing.

# Snitsky loves feet #

- no comment needed

Didn't Ryan and Ken Shamrock start an incest angle as well or am I imagining that? I know it either didn't last long or didn't go all the way and possibly because of an injury to Ken.

I have to say that the thing I'm most shocked about itt that I hadn't previously known about is "Little People's Court". How could HHH, HBK, Vince think that it's a good idea and at all funny? Especially awful since it lasted 24 ****ing minutes.

They could have but all I remember about Ryan Shamrock was that she had something to do with Val Venis, so I guess it's just as bad.

I'm pretty sure this was it. I don't think there was ever a Ryan/Ken thing. I also was ready to pull the trigger on the Paul Burchil deal, but I hit my incest quota with Beaver Clevage

I had originally intended to take only one thing from this, but the whole thing was so ****ing stupid that I just had to take the entire event.

Spoiler:
At 8 pm ET on March 19, 1995, this message appeared on the TV screen for many unfortunate souls:

“The program you are about to see is a first in World Championship Wrestling. The following pay-per-view event, Uncensored, has been established due to the many grudges and differences which have developed between wrestlers over the past few months. With this in mind, the WCW Board of Governors has the following statement: Every match at Uncensored will occur without the sanction of the WCW board. The following matches have been agreed upon by all involved and will be held solely to settle any personal disputes. Get ready for a professional wrestling event like none other. It's now time for WCW Unauthorized, Unsanctioned and UNCENSORED.”

Spoiler:
Yes, it's Uncensored 95.

This PPV was conceived as a counterpoint to the surging ECW, and is a forerunner to the current WWE Extreme Rules event. Most matches had some sort of stipulation, and the ones that didn't were no disqualification and no countout. Remember that, it'll be important later.

Spoiler:
First up was a King of the Road match between Dustin Rhodes and the Blacktop Bully (one of the multitude of gimmicks for Barry Darsow). What's a King of the Road match? Well, you really don't want to know, but I'll tell you anyway -- it's two guys fighting on the back of a moving 18-wheeler, trying to be the first to get to the cab and blow a horn. Yes, it was exactly as dumb as it sounds. Even worse was that it was pre-taped and the editing for this was so bad that they switched from day to evening and back again. AND, in an effort to generate some small amount of interest, both guys broke WCW's no-blading policy and got colour. They were both fired after the PPV, which worked out great for Dustin, as he got to jump to the WWF and into the Goldust character.

Spoiler:
Next up was an atrocious martial arts match between Meng and ****ing Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and a boxer vs. wrestler match between Johnny B. Badd and Arn Anderson that was actually quite good. But then, we got Randy Savage vs. Avalanche. What was going along as your typical Randy Savage vs. Big Fat Guy match ended when Savage was attacked by a woman at ringside. Which caused Avalanche to be disqualified. In a match with no rules.

Right.

Oh, and the woman wasn't actually a woman, it turned out to be Ric Flair in drag. Which, sadly, wouldn't be the most embarrassing thing involving Flair this evening.

Spoiler:
We then had a not-terrible match between Sting and Big Bubba Rogers, which was followed by a truly atrocious brawl between Harlem Heat and the Nasty Boys, which went into the concession stands and featured offence involving sodas and cotton candy.

Spoiler:
Which brings us to the main event: a non-title strap match between WCW World champion Hulk Hogan and Vader. (No, this was not a YAPAPI strap match.) I will spare you the details of this awful match and just give you the result, which is the reason I wanted this match: Hogan beat Vader in this strap match BY ATTACHING THE STRAP TO RIC FLAIR AND DRAGGING FLAIR TO ALL FOUR CORNERS.

But hey, it's Uncensored.

Team:

Spoiler:
Shockmaster debuts, trips over himself
Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio custody feud
HHH and Friends
Kaientai choppy-choppies Val Venis' pee pee
Hogan/Warrior II
Farting Natalya
Ed Ferrara as Oklahoma
Mass Transit incident

Daniel Bryan/Sheamus at WM28 goes 18 seconds
Piper/Mr. T boxing match at WM2

Uncensored 95
After listening to the podcast on this event with Tony Schiavone, I just thought I would pass along a couple tidbits about the King of the Road match. First, not only were both Darsow and Rhodes fired for blading, but so was the agent, Mike Graham. He was the one who told them both to get color in the match. There are also a lot of people in the organization who believed they they were all set up and it was all a ploy to have cause to fire all three because WCW was still in a cost cutting mode.

Also the match itself went about 20 minutes, but because of the editing they had to do because of the blood, it was trimmed down to 13. And what was believed to be an editing snafu where it went from daylight to night time back to daylight was actually another necessity because of the blood. What looked like night time was actually just the iris on the camera turned way down to conceal the blood.

Two more things about the show with regards to the censoring. According to Schiavone both him and Hernanthought that it was silly that they had no blood at an event called Uncensored, that they decided to protest by loudly proclaiming "Its Uncensored!" many times throughout the show. And one more bit of censoring was that for every chair shot, they would quickly switch to a wide angle shot so that the impact wasn't shown close up on TV. Everything they did on this night was geared towards their new family friendly philosophy.

After listening to the most recent TLF, I'm putting the entirety of New Blood Rising up here. This included two moments that were picked, Judy Bagwell on a forklift and Goldberg walking out of a match. This show also included five DUD ratings from Da Meltz. Another moment that should've been included in the draft is Mark Madden waving "the script" in front of the tv saying "that wasn't in here" because of another moment that should've been included in the draft, David Flair running out during a Major Gunns vs Miss Hancock mud pit match after Stacy got hit in the stomach because she was "pregnant". Stacy hadn't yet even announced on tv that she was pregnant. She was rushed to an ambulance and when it got cut back to her she forgot to sell that she was "pregnant". What a show.

I'm actually finishing up Part 1 as we speak and I came here to comment on this. My favorite part was easily Lapsed Kevin Nash. It cracks me up that Jack gets legit angry at Lapsed Nash, and as I was listening, I started getting angry because I can envision RL Nash saying all of this stuff. Or at the very least I know he thought it. Right now they are reading the listener mail which is always a treat. Yeah sometimes they read one where the writer tries way too hard to be funny, but most are hilarious

Yeah there are some hilarious things about the show like Jack getting angry at Lapsed Nash and JP getting upset when Jack does Lapsed Russo (speaking not just of NBR eps). This was the first episode I can remember where JP gets angry with Nash. JP's reactions to the **** that happens in both parts of this particular show are priceless. Such a garbage show is NBR and perfect for TLF. I wonder how Russo spins this show because I know he doesn't take responsibility for anything but like one bad angle.

I'm sure you recall in the beginning of the episode how JP says Jacques is one of the bright spots of the show. It's so ****ing hilarious when they get to it in pt. 2.
