I'm much more excited about the NXT card than the AEW one but I can't not watch AEW's first show.

Jericho is confirmed to be with LAX btw, which would be the match I'd be most excited for if it wasn't for Jericho being boring.

Is NXT now two hours straight on USA or are they still having to swap after an hour? I should go bed...

This is gonna be tough having them both in the same thread. Would suggest keeping the NXT thread for that show and use this one for AEW. Otherwise people are going to get spoiled depending on which one they choose to watch first (if watching both of course).

That makes me sad but you're right. I'd originally wanted to just make an AEW weekly thread but decided to spice it up. LKJ can make a ruling and delete the NXT stuff if he wants.

more flippy WWE isn't gonna take hold like the 90's. The audience is good here but in a month or two?

not good if they're throwing too many green guys like that guy who couldn't stand on a turnbuckle and maybe blew out his knee from it. Should've been a squash anyway so w/e but it's the opening show--have to make a stronger impression than this show is so far.

Can't really watch live, just catching bits and pieces but pretty surprised AEW straight up copied TNA's old set. Looks terrible.

The match quality is significantly better from NXT so far. Both matches I've seen (riddle and Io) are pretty good. The two from AEW (cody and MJF) were sloppy.

I could see it either way. Personally like your idea of a combined thread. That said, think majority should rule here rather than me just dictating my own opinion. If a majority want to segregate then we can do that.
