Hey, I've watched Flair/Steamboat two out of three falls. Awesome stuff, but I've always hold Benoit/Angle at the RR 2003 as my 2nd favorite match, the first one was already in the first match-up.

#4 SEED: BRET HART VS. SHAWN MICHAELS IRONMAN MATCH (WRESTLEMANIA XII)

This was the first ironman match in WWF history, properly conducted from two of the greatest of all time. Shawn Michaels had come back from kayfabe injury to win the Royal Rumble, and then had successfully defeated Owen Hart in February to retain his title shot for WrestleMania. The personal feud between these two was mostly non-existent, at least on-screen…they didn’t purport to be friends, but there wasn’t a ton of tension.

Tons of great wrestling in this one. And a ****ing hard superkick to a timekeeper, just to keep things interesting.

#5 SEED: MANKIND VS. THE UNDERTAKER HELL IN A CELL (KING OF THE RING ’98)

This one is a spotfest, but certainly one of the craziest and most memorable spotfests ever. The cage botches and Foley goes through to the mat. Foley gets thrown off the top of the cage. Foley’s tooth goes through his nose. Thumbtacks. The whole nine yards.

It was only the second Hell in a Cell, but even as great as the first one was, it feels like this was the one to put this type of gimmick match on the map and cause them to do so many more in the future. A technical masterpiece it is not, but it’s still a joy to behold.

I've always felt both are overrated (HiaC ridiculously so), but Bret/HBK is the clear winner in this particular matchup.

Well, it's starting to look like LOL me for only downgrading Taker/Mankind to a 5 seed. Ah well; the other two 4 v. 5 matchups have been really close, and I still expect the final one to be as well.

Mankind/Taker. Bret completely ruins the ironman match. It's just an hour of rest holds and wrist locks. I love it because it's HBK's first championship win but Bret slows the match down way too much.

HBK/Bret

Bret HBK, though its closer than it could be. That ironman match could have happened in half the time and told the same story.

Mankind/Taker

HBK/Bret. I felt the Ironman Match was severely overrated until I watched it a few months ago ... it's actually much better than I remembered. And it's certainly better than Mankind/Taker. But it will lose soon.

I'm also gonna throw a futile vote in the direction of Taker vs Mankind. Hart vs Michaels was pretty boring at times with both guys playing lame babyface characters, and it was pretty obvious what was going down after about half an hour with no falls, whereas Taker vs Mankind was entertaining throughout, even if for the wrong reasons.

just got done watchin both matches, and gonna have to say Savage/Warrior.

Another hard choice, Savage/Warrior gets my vote.

I'm halfway thru Bret/Perfect and it gets my vote.
