Here's my comments on my pick:

Steve Doll vs. The Mauler 3:02

For me personally this match turned me from occasional watcher of wrestling back into a full time hardcore fanatic once again. This was the WCW debut of the Mauler, but a much more important debut occurred during this match. One of the top stars in the WWF debuts in WCW as an ‘outsider’ igniting one of the best and biggest drawing angles in wrestling history and setting ablaze the Monday Night Wars. It lead to a company that previously had struggled to sell merchandise setting a fashion trend all over the United States (New World Order T-shirts everywhere).

Really wanted to get these 2 guys on my card somehow. I absolutely hate un-clean finishes to matches but since the rest of my card features all clean finishes I can overlook the slightly disappointing ending to this match (although some fans love that stuff).

Promos are free of charge. The rule changed on that after the start of the draft.

I think the 16:50 is correct. I get the same bell-to-bell time and part 1 and part 2 on YouTube don't seem to have any overlap when the first ends and the second begins.
