lots of years in between your two matches (which im still not sure what to make of, but it seems like other drafted are against that).

that match was truly awesome though. big point in hart's career for sure.

Perfect carried Bret in both matches.

Personally - the fact that matches are 20+ years apart doesn't bother me at all.

I stated earlier that if the same person appeared on your card twice, a long time apart, that I would consider that negatively.

EXAMPLE: You draft the Shockmaster promo that features Ric Flair from the 80s, then draft Flair vs. Hogan from TNA in 2011. That, to me, makes no sense.

Having two matches like wsrwood does that are 20 years apart, but feature totally different people, doesn't matter to me at all - personally.

Plus the fact that they are both awesome helps

I think Perfect v. Bret KOTR is superior in ringwork and doesn't saddle me down to that as my IC title match unnecessarily. IC title match is obviously sick too. It has historical significance as Bret's breakout singles match that really pushed him to the next level, but in a one-card vacuum that factor doesn't do much. They were within a minute of each other in time, so no big deal there. I'm glad to have the one that I have and it's not as though I was unaware of the other one, but in any case nice pick.

Also Dylan is completely delusional about Bret, who apparently was carried in every great match of his career.

I forgot bout the KOTR one so I thought you sniped the only other one

Age doesnt bother me, but what makes a good card is so subjective means meh, each to their own. Ive already picked two matches 11 years apart. Similar to the WM draft im just picking for my own personal tastes.

No Nash didn't really carry Bret in their match, but Owen, Austin, HBK, and Perfect all carried Bret.

Spoiler:
Do Fixer (Ryo Saito, Genki Horiguchi & Dragon Kid) vs Blood Generation (Masato Yoshino, Naruki Doi & CIMA) - Supercard Of Honor

I'm sure most of you have probably never seen this match but it is INCREDIBLE! A Meltzer 5 star rated classic, this match put Dragon Gate on the map in the West and made Dragon Gate USA a possibility. This match starts well and quickly becomes even better, the crowd realise as the match goes on that they are watching greatness and for the last 10 minutes everyone in the crowd is standing; not in anticipation of the finish but in appreciation of a fantastic match. I regularly show this match to non wrestling fans and have always gotten a good response, it is impossible to not be drawn in by it. I strongly recommend you watch this match now.

Mother of god what a match

Thanks for posting, had never seen that match before. Mindblowingly good

they also had a rematch at the next years Supercard of Honor event that appears to have gone unrated for some reason. Cima and I think Doi swapped sides but the rest was the same.

I'm gonna take a reach in the sense that it would probably be around by the time my next pick rolls around, but for certain strategy reasons I'm gonna go ahead and take it anyways.

Spoiler:
Do people actually watch the posted matches?

Spoiler:
Because if you don't you should watch this one

Spoiler:
Especially if you haven't seen it

Spoiler:

I take Eddy Guerrero vs Rey Misterio Jr. in a Mask vs Title match at Halloween Havoc 1997. It is my favorite of all the WCW Cruiserweight matches, featuring some absolutely fantastic wrestling, especially by 1997 standards. Plus it only takes up 13:51 which leaves a ton of time to valuetown some longer matches later on. Meltzer gave this match ****3/4 which is only a slight testament to its quality.

Lastly, although it's far too early to decide on a direction, it would be fun to go for a more mat-based card after working harder for a good drawing card in the WrestleMania draft.

Card Thus Far:

WCW Cruiserweight Championship, Title vs Mask: Eddy Guerrero (c) vs Rey Misterio Jr.

WWF Intercontinental Championship: "Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) vs Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (WrestleMania III)

I feel the same way to be honest. I couldn't pick between the many great world title matches and higher profile matches, so I just sorted by match length and picked what I felt was the best short match. When it comes back I imagine there will still be lots of great top card matches, so I have no issues waiting on the big draws.

People who attend my event live, or watch it on PPV, aren't going to see the best technical wrestling - but damn are they going to leave having seen some of the biggest moments in wrestling history.

Trevorwc should just name his card "Most Shocking Wrestling Moments". The fans that go to see his show are going to faint from all the surprising things that happen.
