If you look at Brock's take downs they suck. He relies on size and strength. He's not technical at all. Overeem has the size and strength to stuff them. Then it's game over.

brocks takedowns are super basic. compare them to cain who use single foot trips and all sort of different things.

with that said... anyone who thinks overeems strength + size will be enough to negate even basic takedown techniques from a high level wrestler are out of their mind in my opinion. Even basic techniques can be very effective. Sometimes the most effective of all.

maybe overeem won't get taken down, but that will be due to using good footwork and/or tagging brock with strikes. not strength or any defensive wrestling he does possess.

I loled at Anderson being a bitch when he gets hit. The scariest thing about Anderson is when he finally does get hit, he literally drops his hands and laughs at you. Watch him vs Riveria for this.

I have no idea who to pick for the main event, it just really comes down to who gets to impose their will first. I know it sounds obvious but its just that simple. Brock either has to get him down ASAP and wear him out, and Reem either has to hurt him standing ASAP.

Daniel Cormier BY FAR. Lesnars take downs are average, he's large and athletic so it looks like he's awesome but his technique is meh.
