I'd guess Reem weighs in at 265 for this. First time Brock has ever fought a guy in UFC bigger/arguably stronger than him.

Brock has had problems with guys who hit him in the face/anywhere. Overeem isn't really the guy you want to fight when you have trouble taking shots:

There's always a shot for Brock as he's an elite athlete and wrestler. but if Reem uses his legs and reach to keep a distance and keep this on the ground for any reasonable amount of time, he might make Brock look very, very bad.

As a Brit I'm really looking forward to seeing Ross Pearson at featherweight. Don't know anything about his opponent though. What are people's opinions on this fight?

Brazilian, very good BJJ.
Pearson is fighting at Featherweight for this, which is Junior's natural weight class

Junior hasn't lost in a while, but he's a UFC vet who lost to Nate Diaz years ago

Overeem should destroy Lesnar, as I just don't think Lesnar is quite as dominant as he was touted to be after his title reign. It's sad, because it seems like he really could be something, but Overeem is just too much for him, imo.

Gotta give it up for Brock for taking this fight after coming back from diverticulitis. He's a warrior taking on all the toughest competitors, pretty tough fight for his first fight back.

I keep flipping back and forth on this one but in the end I think Brock's wrestling and take downs should be able to overcome Overeem. Could be bad if tries to strike with him. I wouldn't be surprised if Overeem takes it though. Really looking forward to this fight, anxious to see how Overeem will fare in the UFC.

Lesnar looks almost pudgy next to Overeem. However I don't get how so many of you can say with so much conviction that Overeem would destroy Lesnar. There's too many unknowns in this fight. Overeem is still unproven in the UFC where Lesnar has proven he's the real deal. I think Lesnar still doesn't get the recognition that he's derserves.

Anyways here's Overeem getting destroyed by Shogun Rua in Pride. The dude has a weak chin and if Lesnar lands his mitts on Overeem it's lights out.

I really don't think reem is even close to as strong as brock, but his strikes are obviously better/harder.

even if overeem is close in regards to size and strength (which is debatable since brock lift freaky numbers and weighs like 20~lbs more than overeem) hes not remotely close when it comes to wrestling technique. It's really hard to just muscle yourself out of the wrestling aspect.

Alistair hasn't really fought a good wrestler since.... ehhm. yeah a long time. If ever.

Edit: Went and looked at his resume. Only guy i can see with good wrestling is chuck liddell and chuck is more of a striker with really good tdd.

He's so much bigger now though, which makes a big difference.

At 260lbs he took some huge hits off sick strikers in K1 and didn't go down

are any of you guys worried that having that crazy disease and loving some intestines is going to hurt him. he is kinda old too so that could hurt him coming back.

I don't have a strong opinion on this fight but am learning towards reem because brock has a serious lack of toughness and reem is good at hitting people.

I am rooting hard for diaz because they are just awesome, but think cerrone may muscle him around.
