We shall see. I'm a bit worried. Give it a month until the Ascension is running around with a midget in a costume and jobbing to Hornswaggle.

Good.

Because you are either Nexus, or you are against us.

Didn't do a preview and won't do a write up for this, because dude, **** TLC as a concept.

The problem with gimmick matches like this, as super evidenced by the main event, is that they're more about spots than they are about trying to win. They don't make sense, they don't tell a story- they're just people falling in theoretically entertaining ways.

The only thing that was any good was the ladder match, because it actually made sense.

Parts of Dean/Bray were good, but I think we've reached the limit on how much inconsistency and nonsense I can take from Dean. They're just falling back on "he's unstable" to explain away his silly- and I'm not buying it any more.

It is silly that they bunch all the TLC matches together instead of spreading them out throughout the year. They are alright, even useful as a change of pace or break during a show that is mostly more traditional wrestling matches but they get so old when you see them one after another after another.

Gimmick PPVs are just one more thing WWE does horribly, no surprise as you need good planning to pull them off well. All of them should be scrapped except Royal Rumble and maybe MITB.

MITB works fine because it's just the one match- same with the Rumble. If TLC was a normal PPV and just had a TLC match (which is dumb anyway, it's just a hardcore/extreme rules match with specifically suggested weapons). that would be fine.

I like MITB if they actually have a good plan for who wins what he does going forward. More often than not, that hasn't been the case. But that's really a different issue (actually the reverse of the typical gimmick PPV, where they don't plan feuds to correctly coincide with the gimmick match).

As somewhat of a noob, I continue to be flabbergasted by the WWE's lack of a long term plan.

Like if I play any more WWE 2K14 (not getting 15 because even though I hvae no desire to create a Divas wrestler, just leaving that ability out of the game is too much of my little SJW heart to take- also if BD Harris can't enter to RJD2's "The Horror" BD Harris isn't entering at all) I'm going to sit down and plan out my **** in an Excel document or something. I feel a bit irresponsible with what I've been doing in the game so far, and the only person I'm trying to please is myself.

I get that given the unstable nature of things you can't write in pen, but they're skipping even pencil. Nothing makes that more obvious than the fact that we're still playing random GM at a time where a consistent GM figure would be a HUGE boost towards storytelling.
