Despite the predictability, I liked more of it than I thought I would, specifically the last two matches.
I enjoyed the show. I did skip most of the Bliss/Charlotte match and the women's SS match but I didn't feel it dragged. AJ/Brock was a refreshing change because that's a once in a lifetime match if Brock's out after Mania.
I kind of liked the shield vs new day a little too I guess. The rest was trash though.
Kind of? That match was ****ing great. It's weird to me that it's generally accepted that the quality of WWE is in the ****ter yet expectations are still so high. Match had great spots, the fans were really into it (after The Shield basically got 0 reaction when their music hit), I really don't know what else people wanted from that match.
Last words of the broadcast: "RAW was dominant".
Why isn't the roster out there celebrating after the bell like when the Astros win the world series as soon as the final out happens? That really just cemented that it meant absolutely nothing.
And why did he say that? Raw won 4-3 and 2 of the 3 remaining guys at the end of the main event were non-wrestlers. I mean it's super obvious they favor Raw but jeez you don't have to constantly bury Smackdown (especially when it's been the better show lately)
I enjoyed Brock/AJ and the first 5 mins of the main. Haven't watched anything else. It's that time of year for HHH to be involved in a top angle again...
I attended this live. Pretty fun show and a hot crowd. I had the same thought about "meh there isn't a real REASON for the teams to fight", but clearly the idea and the fresh matchups were over with the crowd.
I haven't watched, so don't know what the commentators were saying but obv the HHH thing was kind of out of left field and weird. I guess either he didn't want Angle getting the win/credit, or he knew Shane was "too stupid to quit" so he stopped Angle from breaking his ankle because family?
After the show went off the air, it was pretty funny, Steph came out and helped HHH up and when she got him stood up she did the "tah dah" and pointed to him and he just collapsed again. Then they did it again and he fell backwards out of the ring. He got up and started staggering to the back and they played his music so he turned around like he thought it was time to go to the ring and she had to tell him no to go to the back.

That's pretty great. Those need to be recorded and released so we can get things like this:
Mostly because they show HHH as not a jackass.

Pretty fun show and a hot crowd.
On tv, the crowd seemed really quiet for everything except AJ/Lesnar and some of the main event + the end.
The crowd being quiet on TV is really weird to me. There were huge chants in a lot of the matches. Big dueling Suplex City/AJ Styles before the show even started which was cool. I did see someone post that the Shield got no reaction which struck me odd bc live they definitely did.
