We should have a thread right? PPVS need threads.

8. Lumberjack Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins

Dean and Seth were friends, but then Seth was all "HHH is cooler" and that made Dean angry. Dean tried to make up by giving himself to Seth as a present, but Seth didn't like his hugs. Dean decided to invite all his friends for a YAY SETH party in the ring. Seth will probably be a BIG JERK and hit him for it, because Seth ruins everything.

I really want Dean to go over here, but I kinda suspect Seth does and they keep this feud moving. Slight chance of Seth winning and Dean showing up to ruin Seth's cash attempt if Cenawinslol.

7. Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler

The Miz is very famous and good at movies and yet decided to wrestle because why? Dolph wants to punch Miz in the face. I ****ing hate The Miz and this has been a painful exercise in people trying not to wrestle.

Hopefully Dolph goes over and Miz is banished for being a ****ty version of Tyler Breeze.

6. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns

Randy is upset because Roman has stolen the 13 year old girl fanbase. Roman is confused as to why he's in the ring to start because isn't that Seth's job, I mean come on where are Seth and Dean how am I supposed to do this?

I think Roman goes over, and maybe the match is even better than people think. Likely Randy working Roman over forever until massive comeback, which I'll mark for even if it's cheesy and obvious, because I like watching Superheros. I will yell at people on the internet for not liking this enough.

5. WWE Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige

Louie Anderson only has so much love to go around, and this is the battle for his heart.

Given enough time, this could be great. It will get 3 minutes less than that. AJ wins because it took the crowd like 5 minutes longer to sit down after her entrance than for any other match at the Smackdown I went to and the WWE knows how to market butts.

4. Flag Match: Jack Swagger vs. Rusev

Jack Swagger thinks Rusev is actually a big ass Mexican because like there's any way Jack can identify specific foreign languages or flags and Zeb is still having 'Nam flashbacks from Kane's pyro and MITB. Their confusion has them angry at the WWE's favorite adorable couple, Lana and Rusev, who are fighting to defend their love.

Love triumphs, because Zeb can't stop going back to the racist well and I'm getting less comfortable with this angle.

3. Brie Bella vs. Stephanie McMahon

Brie is a very bad employee who makes ****ty coffee and forgot the coversheet on the TPS reports. Steph really needs you to put the coversheet on the TPS reports.

This is fun, but probably ends dumb.

2. Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho

Two guys who are supposed to be good at talking basically just spat out hippo farts for a month and the only thing that happened is that the best wrestler int he world and my personal savior Luke Harper got banned from ringside.

Wyatt wins. Jericho makes me sad enough that I don't even go back and watch him introducing battle royale contestants.

1. WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match: John Cena vs Brock Lesnar

Paul Heyman goated all over the ****ing place and made everybody look better by comparison. Some ******* with a towel got emotional about his towel. Another guy promised to piss on a dude or something.

Brock's gotta win. The only way the last months of Cena's bull**** are tolerable is if he wins.

I'm excited for this than it probably sounds, all the matches have the potential to be good. I really hope they add something Tag/Dust Bros/Harper related.

Once again, I'm optimistic for a ppv. The last two ppvs in particular have been pretty bad. If Brock/Cena is anything close to their prior match, this will make it worth the $9.99. Interested to see how Roman does in an extended ppv singles match. Rollins/Dean should be good. Rusev/Swagger should be solid. Jericho/Wyatt is about the only match I'm not optimistic about. After last months boring match, I don't want to see anymore from this pairing.

I will lol and then be pretty upset if Brock loses to Cena.

Barely watched lately but this looks like a solid lineup top to bottom with the only negatives being Brie/Steph and the lj stipulation.

Oh, forgot about Steph/Brie. **** that. Piss break or food break there.

I thought I'd hate the lumberjack stip, but framing it was "here's all these dudes who have reason to hate both guys for their run as The Shield" won me over both because it's a nod to continuity, and if they're not going to give my favorites matches, maybe they'll find a reason for Cesaro to suplex half the roster or something.

Brie/Steph seems like it should be dumb, but look at the recent stuff on PPV that should be dumb, it's all been kinda awesome.

the winners in SS and WM tend to be faces and i just realized that the favorites in summerslam are mostly heels, so there's gonna be a few surprises.

If brock wins, where does he go from there? Rematch with Cena...then? Reigns seems like the only option, idk though. Cena probably wins to avoid worrying about the future.

Cesaro/RVD added to preshow lulz.

Fk Sheamus but lol at no title match. Bigger lol at no tag title match especially when the Wyatts are banned from ringside in the other match.

Some of these matches could be OK but I bo-lieve it will all probably be aids.

I love how the Uso/Wyatts reward for putting on a 5 star match is being left off the card completely

not watched a huge amount recently (last ppv watched was payback, caught the occasional raw/smackdown/youtube highlights) although i have been at least reading reports so know kind of what's going on:

ambrose/rollins should be alright
if you're going to use a lumberjack stip, use it on miz/ziggler. ziggler going over makes sense, this should be ok but i've no time for the miz, so obv miz retains via bull****
orton/reigns who cares
lee/paige could potentially be as good as a divas match can get but as dids says it clearly gets 5 minutes tops
swagger/rusev is aids and hopefully swagger loses in 2 minutes and rusev can move on to something new
rest of the card is aids. would watch if it was free on sky, but it's not worth messing about with rivers and def not worth spending money on

Can anyone give me an estimate on the chances of Bork wins, Rollins cashes in?

We still get Roman/Bork at WM and dont keep the belt on a part-timer?

Feels bad... but has to be a possibility right?

i dont see rollins cashing in on bork as a possibility. if bork doesnt walk out with the title he's going to still look super strong.

i can see them having bork completely dismantle cena to the point where cena can't continue or bork is DQ'd or something and then have rollins cash in on cena. and from there we'd have rollins feud with reigns/ambrose and bork just feud with cena with no title on the line.

I can see a scenario in which Seth beats Ambrose, Brock beats Cena, Seth tries to cash in on Brock on HHHs orders, and Ambrose gets Seth DQd.

I think the overwhelming favorite is no attempted cash in whatsoever though

There is about a .0001% that Rollins cashes in after Brock wins.

Also, 1 year anniversary from Bryan getting screwed.

If there's any thought of Rollins winning on his cash-in then it had better not happen right now; he's not even remotely built up to be a credible WWE Champion at this time. There's still time to get him there, but he has to win this Ambrose feud and then go over someone near the main event level as well afterward before he can win the belt and have it be anything but a joke. That said, obviously he can cash in and lose, which would be fine.

I expect a good show overall. Cena-Brock should be great, so it should be one of the sporadic times when Cena is on top that a big show actually ends strongly. Will be rooting for Brock but not going to be too upset if they find a way not to put the belt on a part-timer; if Cena wins then I'll assume that they couldn't get Brock to agree to enough appearances. But hopefully Brock has agreed to enough appearances and does win.

I don't think there's any way Brock went over Taker only to lose his next match for the title.

Brock takes it.

Bit then again taker wasn't supposed to lose. So who knows.

Cena going over clean would be "pinch myself I must be dreaming" levels of bad...

Breaking a streak built up over 22 years only to lose his next match sigh

I hardly think it's some all-time booking travesty if they put the full-time wrestler over the part-time wrestler.

That said, I obviously hope they don't do that.

Yeah I feel like they are booked somewhat in to a corner.

Bork wins - You either are left with a part-timer with the title, which while I'm not entirely against, has only been done once in the past 15 years or so, and it was probably the worst title run of that entire period...

Cena wins - You have a guy break the biggest streak in wrestling history, only to not capitalise on that at all, and just feed him to somebody who in no way needs the rub.

Anything else - You end a big 4 ppv and massively billed fight with some kind of no result.

Ftr I say "somewhat" because I do think both scenarios 1 and 3 could be workable, they just dont allow for level 0 options.
