Whilst I accept that no one was excited for this PPV I'm not sure that exactly helps. It was just a good PPV. Yeah, there were no huge big name matches to disappoint even though they were ok (i.e. every AJ Styles match). Makes no sense to me to think that in isolation that wasn't good.
CW match was good but same issue as always.
Women's match good, right winner, built to the main event.
Sami & KO v New Day, interesting start, really solid match, correct winners.
Ricochet v Joe, solid match not great like I'd hoped but good.
Tag champs, made heavy machinery look like threats, good match.
Bayley v Bliss, ok match, advances Nikki Bliss and starting to take Bayley out of her scared little kid who never breaks the rules which was awful.
Roman v Drew, I think it buries Drew a little that even with huge shenanigans he couldn't put away Roman (yet Shane can...) but the match itself was enjoyable and built the story. I'd like the Shane payoff to be soon, Summerslam at the latest and then for him to go.
Kofi v Dolph, I agree that I hate opening doors in cage matches. Just defeats the whole point. Good in ring, nice metaphorical ending. Worried for Dolph and kind of hoping he's calling it a day as he can't keep doing the same ****.
Seth v Corbin, I thought was really enjoyable. Lots of shenanigans and over-booked but entertaining and everything made sense.
I genuinely think that's one of the better PPVs as a whole in quite a while. It's missing huge stand out moments and greatness but if every B-PPV was as solid as that, happy times would be had.
