RIP King Kong Bundy

http://www.prowrestlingsheet.com/kin...ndy-dead-dies/

Another one down. I enjoyed watching some of his old work in WCCW on the network

Quality monster heel, master of the 5 count

RIP

Re: RIP King Kong Bundy

61 years is a pretty solid run for a massive dude who was also a pro wrestler.

Bundy was never a personal favorite, but I still remember him warmly enough for his contributions to the earliest WrestleManias.

Bundy was part of my first memory of wrestling (WM3) but I never watched WM2. I always enjoyed him on Married With. He seemed like a genuine softy.

RIP. Was also one of my earlier memories.

How many other Wrestlemania main eventers aren't in the Hall of Fame? Is it just him and Bigelow? (Obviously not counting people like Cena/Roman/Orton, who will obviously get in)

Donít think that Sid is in.

Edit: or Benoit, obviously.

For some reason, I thought Sid was in. I'm a little surprised that he's not.

Re: RIP King Kong Bundy

It is odd. He certainly meets the criteria, including that he seems to have a positive enough relationship with the company based on his appearance at or around Raw 1000.

He probably isn't high on the priority list.

King Kong Bundy's match at the first WM can be captured in one gif.

Re: RIP King Kong Bundy

Who better than Canyon?

He had a run in WCCW with the Von Erich's as Big Daddy Bundy in like 1981. They were mentoring him until he turned on him. Think that might have been when he shaved his head.

Also, never realized how much he hated Savage:
