I hope JP said in his LN voice; "I just came from Arco while sipping on some wine and listening to jazz."

Never had heard of the Welsh wrestler "Exotic" Adrian Street until this fantastic profile and interview recently released on the BBC show outlook.

Of the 4 podcasts that Conrad currently hosts, this one has the potential to be the best. Eventhough its still early, this one has everything that makes STWW great without the constant Vince/HHH ass kissing. JR appears to be calling it like he sees it and doesnt mind burying someone if they deserve it.

The latest "Talk is Jericho" with Moxley is really good. I don't normally listen to Y2J's podcast because I find that he's always interrupting his guests, but this episode is worth the listen.

Yeah I just check the Jericho podcast and listen to the rare one, but the one with Moxley is really, really good. Must-listen.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of podcasts in general but this one was just Moxley going off for a really long time and confirming a lot of people's worst fears about Vince, WWE creative, and its structure. It's kind of a weird comp, but his delivery and the way he was telling stories reminded me a bit of George Carlin. I think Jericho said like three non-ad sentences the whole time.

It's funny because Moxley has a rep for being kind of guarded and not talkative, but he is really loose and funny on this. It got me more excited to see what he's capable of in AEW.

Some Vince trial transcript details: I was listening to the Saudi call from a couple weeks ago and they mentioned that the transcript show's going to be on Patreon and will be a reenactment of the entire trial. I may up my tier of sub when this drops.

Man, I've been looking forward to it, but a reenacted transcript of the entire trial seems like it could get rough. There are moments in a trial that can be really compelling, but there's a lot of damn boredom in watching most legal cases play out.

Optimally they would do the yeoman's work of just cropping it down to the good stuff.

Wasn't sure whether to put here or AEW thread but this is bumped most recent so...Tony Khan was on Austin's most recent podcast. Link. About to listen and I imagine it'll be interesting.

TLF casts are gone on Soundcloud and Google play. They're still up on Player.fm. I'm gonna guess they were hacked on those two accounts.

This series has been great. I can't believe that everything they posted on Patreon was real. The last ~hour of that was absurd. I thought it was faked until they mentioned during the latest cast that it was 100% real.

At the 2 hour and 36 minute mark (reading from WWE magazine) from the latest cast is ludicrous stuff.

I'm not current on the trial series, but just ran into the part where Jack was marveling at how two-faced it was for Vince's attorneys to sit through an opening statement and then raise objections after the fact out of respect to the other side.

I get why that seems absurd from the outside, but it's a pretty significant point of etiquette among lawyers that you don't **** with another lawyer's opening statement unless they've done something truly egregious.

Appreciate the insight here. Was hoping for some nuggets throughout tbh .

The transcript is so much more entertaining than it ever sounded at first. I find that better than the overview they do of it afterward on the regular cast.

Jack kinda hammers on the "he's not going to admit doing something illegal" when someone talks about taking steroids. Is it really illegal to admit you've done them in the past? I can't see how that'd be a big deal. It seems like the most they could do is bother you about who gave them to you or possibly get a search warrant and make a mess.

I've had a really hard time getting myself up for the thought of listening to a re-enactment of the full trial transcript. I enjoy hearings if I'm participating as the lawyer on one side, but if I'm not and I'm just in the audience, the average legal hearing absolutely bores me to tears.

I fully grant that the fact that you've praised those episodes, and the fact that Jack and JP said they (correctly) dreaded them only to have them turn out to be awesome, should make me want to listen. I just haven't so far.

With regard to Nailz's ring attire (paraphrase): "that's the baggiest wrestling outfit I've ever seen any wrestler wear. Ever."

Triple H gave a great interview on Pardon My Take's podcast on Wednesday. I believe it starts somewhere 30-33 minutes in.

Arn Anderson is doing a weekly pod now and covered his retirement promo in two hours of riveting audio this week. It was horrifying to hear him talk about his surgery and I didn't realize he was actually that upset about the parody. Don't think I've ever heard him speak directly on it. There still seems to be some lingering soreness there.

I’m almost glad to hear that he’s still pissed about it since I still am, and it would admittedly be silly for a fan to hold a grudge when he’s cool with it.

I am loving the new ARN podcast. While his podcast technique needs work, or the engineer needs to get better, Arn's stories and the way he tells them are exactly what I want in a wrestling podcast. Being a fan of old-school wrestling, I would much rather listen to this than what's going on in the business these days.

I liked how Arn spoke to Nash about the parody, and while he wasn't cool with the parody, he was good with Nash because Arn accepted that it came from the right place. (Wrt to Nash, anyway)

Yeah, it really seemed to be Terry Taylor he was more disgusted with. And he was probably more disappointed that they then turned Hennig after all that.

I've struggled with TLF's Vince trial series, but that interview with the dude who attended the trial in person as a kid was such gold. I was on an airplane and had to work hard not to bust up laughing at his dealings with the Ultimate Warrior.

Yeah that stuff was good. Warrior sounded like an 8 year old without a leash. Getting Vince's autograph in that setting's pretty funny too.

I made it to Day 8 (Hogan day). I tried 9-14 but it also seemed so boring compared to the rest of the days and didn't come close to making it through a full episode of those ones. Ready for the last podcast on 12-14 and then hopefully get some wrestling again.
