I read on WWE.com that they are thinking about having some diva tag team belts! How awesome would that be.

I bet the first winners will be the Bellas, twin magic is my favourite wrestling move

I hate when they do just one on one matches at Wrestlemania with the girls, it's dumb. Nobody wants to see Beth vs Natayla I want to see Kelly Kelly, the Bellas and Eve tag in mud or something!! How HOT would that be?
See you are the type of person that sums up everything that is wrong with wrestling. When I watch a Divas match I don't think about their stunning beauty or their incredible intelligence, I think about what amazing ATHLETES and SPORTSWOMAN they are! I'm tired of the Divas being objectified in this way, they are equal to the men and should be treated as such! I wish they would put more female wrestlers in matches with men and then you would see how outdated your sexist views are, I guarantee there is not a man, woman or child alive who could kick out of a Kelly Kelly roll-up.

That's where you're wrong. If you remember, one of the reasons the Superstars were going to walk out on HHH was because the women were subjected to an unsafe work envirnoment. Beth brough up the very valid point that they're just girls, and wrestling is dangerous.

If Beth said that then I will have to admit that I was wrong to want to see the Divas prove their technical wrestling prowess against the men. The Divas have spent years practising something that is too dangerous for me to even try at home so she knows better than I do. My point about Kelly's roll-up being inescapable still stands though.

I'm just glad that gross Kharma woman got knocked up and had to leave TV. She was a disgrace to the division and I hope that if she comes back the Bellas show her what's up.

No sir, he is right because Kelly Kelly in fact wasnt one of those who walked out. That puts her on equal footing with Cena, Orton, Sheamus, CM Punk and Hornswoggle.

Ok serious question; I come to this forum because you all love the sport of professional wrestling as much as I do and I'm sure you can help me settle an argument that I have been having with a friend. If the undead Undertaker defended his Wrestlemania streak against the immortal Hulk Hogan in a 'Fight To The Death' then who would win?

Oh man! Maybe Hogan can get fired by Sting (who controls the iMpact Zone) and come back for that match this year! That would be awesome.

It's a trick question, HHH already ended the streak last year.

Pfffff! Call yourself a wrestling fan? EVERYONE knows that Undertaker is 19-0 and unbeatable at Wrestlemania. Maybe you should stop visiting pretend websites and read the gospel that is WWE.com

what do you guys think about jtg's chances to win the rumble?

seems like he has been real quiet lately, almost like he has been spending a lot of time training various scenarios. i reckon he could just about fly under the radar and pick up the win if he gets a decent number.

Do you guys think they will find a female funk-a-saurus for Brodus Clay to mate with and have a soul mate so we can have many funk-a-sauri?

It's certainly a possibility. The great thing about the Rumble is that everyone has a shot.

He is the only funkasaurus in captivity and i dont think PETA will sign off on them capturing one from the wild. Plus the costs would be huge given they ended the shuttle program a few months ago.

It'd be like when Robert Varkonyi or Jerry Yang won the WSOP. Sure, any of the 30 can win, but the event obviously favors the upper crust of talent. Still, there is a huge luck/variance factor in every RR. Remember that Santino Marella got heads up with ADR last year and damn near won it outright.

FWIW, the above analysis goes to show how amazing Stone Cold's 3 RR victories are. Obviously most wrestlers would do anything to win just one, but 3 is on a whole other plane of existence.

In seriousness, Brodus brings a speed and agility to the ring from a big guy that I haven't seen since Bam Bam Bigelow. His competition up to this point, however, been subpar. I love the Funkasaurus, but frankly he's untested.

I think this analysis makes perfect sense 5 years ago, but not any more.

Nowadays people dont just go in to the rumble and try to get anyone out, they deliberately focus together on the main threats. You only have to look at last year when Cena and Orton were targeted and thrown out, and the relatively unknown ADR was able to capitalise.

Same the year before with Edge. Noone even had any idea he would be back, so noone prepared for him. While they were all focussing on the big threats, Edge was able to seize the opportunity and take the rumble.

Its obviously hard to pick a winner in such a chaotic event, but I would say a guy like JTG would be my favourite.

Yeah, that's sort of reminiscent of when amateurs would deliberately play pots with big name pros, even taking the worst of it, just for the chance to knock one out. I can imagine, "I eliminated John Cena!" and "I busted out Phil Ivey!" to be similar in nature.

There's actually precedent for this:

I think the best way to approach the question, is do you think that Tom Brady could go back to Michigan and be a successful college quarterback? Angle returning to the Olympics would be an utter mismatch for his amateur competitors, reminiscent of the great Dream Team gold medalists in 1992.

I really have my concerns about Evan Bourne. He hasn't been on TV since losing his title. Do you guys think the Puerto Ricans murdered him?

Kurt is obviously an amazing professional wrestler but he hasn't participated in an amateur competition in a long time. This reminds me of when long time tennis pro Yevgeny Kafelnikov was unbeatable in Ping Pong until he stopped playing it and focused on tennis exclusively. A few years ago he tried to make a comeback on the table tennis scene and it didn't work out too well, I fear a similar fate awaits Kurt.

The Rumble is only a week away, I've never seen any behind the scenes stuff regarding this but how would these guys prepare for such an event? I imagine training cardio is huge for this event, also experience since battle royals aren't commonplace. With Orton on the shelf and not capitalizing on home field advantage, I favor Drew McIntire.

Hmmm, funny thing. I sometimes compare John Cena to like Daniel Negreanu in terms of like fame and popularity of sorts. Heck, I've been contemplating whether or not to create a thread on which poker pros match with what wrestler in terms of accomplishment, popularity, history, etc. Should I do it?

Also, do you guys think that with Cena and Ryder being buddy-buddy, that the evil "Mr. Excitement" would pit them each other into a match where they have to destroy each other for his pleasure, or else he shall fire one or both of them?

Great post. I'm still obviously concerned about Drew's mental hang ups that I discussed in post 2 od this thread.
