I just read this in a thread on Reddit about who will win the Royal Rumble:

The past year they've quietly been having him win a bunch of battle royal matches. US Title Shot. Smackdown GM. That other one. So Royal Rumble comes along, he's a late entrant. The "end of match" fodder. Like Santino in 2011. Makes it to the end, but "obviously isn't going to win, it's friggen Zack Ryder".
Except he does.
And this is the PPV Ziggler finally cashes in, and wins the WHC.
Next night on Raw, huge buzz that Ryder actually won. He's doing his usual WWW schtick, acting like a fool. Ziggs cuts a, well, cutting promo about how Ryder will never become big in this business. His little web show will be all he'll ever amount to.
Ryder reminds him of the agreement they had on his show earlier this year. (Ziggler vs Ryder at Wrestlemania. Yes, it was a thing) Says not only is he challenging Ziggler, but will put his own Internet Championship on the line.
Gets closer to the date. Ziggler still acting the heel. Ryder acting the fool.
Comes to Wrestlemania. They put on a Wrestlemania-quality match. But obviously Ryder's outmatched. Looks like it's about to end. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag. Covers for the pin.
And no count.
Vickie is distracting the ref.
Ziggler gets up, infuriated, pushes ref aside, knocking him out. Starts yelling at Vickie. And gets attacked from behind by Hawkins and Baretta. Ryder struggles to his feet, sees the chance, hits the Rough Ryder. Hawkins pulls the ref, he makes the count.
The music plays. Radio. The Downstait version.
La Familia is back.

If the WWE booked it right, yes.

But in reality, **** no, would be terrible and likely resemble more of a squash than a great long back and forth edge of seat epic 5 star match.

That match was awesome. I cant think of a better short match I have ever seen.

The belly to belly was ****ing insane. As was the F5.

I have never seen a Hogan match I havent hated because Hogan was in it and even the best big man ever in Yoko couldnt change that.

That wasn't even a match, just a gimmick title drop.

That match was a test of whether the crowd can carry two hack wrestlers who cant carry a match, most seem to agree the crowd can and did.

Everyone needs their Wrestlemania pay cheque.

Plus, I dig spotfests and the limited rest spots with 3+ matches would suit my entertainment needs.

It's been awhile since we all complained about main event 6-man tag team matches, hasn't it? We're due for some more PPV main events of that sort

I don't mind them on TV since it gets everyone time and keeps them from redoing the same 1v1s a million times.

That being said I would only be ok with Mania 3 and 4 ways if they were elimination matches :/ Certainly no 6 mans unless it is a one-off opener type deal.
