Lots of predictions in the Wrestlemania thread about what's going to happen from Royal Rumble till Wrestlemania.

I don't watch any WWE but the ppvs but from what I've seen and heard I honestly can't make up my mind where the E is going with Rock and Punk at the Rumble. At this point I think Rock is going to win the belt >70% of the time.

Ziggler (c) vs. Big Show solidifying his being > Big Show after cashing in on Show at TLC after he successfully defends vs Sheamus. As a result of that Orton wins the Rumble. The Road Dogg will be a participant in the RR match (pure speculation, have not read that anywhere).

Wild WM speculation:
Rock will face Cena if he's the champ which I keep flip flopping on. I don't think we'll get a Punk/Rock 2 if Rock wins and they have to transition the title to somebody and that somebody won't be Brock which is the only reason I think Punk may keep the belt at RR.
Dolph vs Orton: Dolph wins
Mysterio vs Sin Cara in a feud that starts two weeks prior to WM.
Hopefully we get a Daniel Bryan singles match. Maybe vs. Barrett.

I'd like to say Undertaker vs Brock but I don't see either losing and that leaves Punk with nothing except HHH. If the E did something like Punk vs Brock and Undertaker vs HHH I'd laugh until the WM XXX card is announced. ofc that won't happen but speculation is fun.

Fwiw unless something crazy happens WM for Smackdown will involve Sheamus. Ziggler going full Edge and cashing after Sheamus regains the title after EC perhaps, maybe its a triple threat Ziggler vs Show vs Sheamus mayhaps but Sheamus will be there somehow. Also I read Kevin Nash is signed for something at WM but they are keeping it under heavy wraps so speculate away on that, apparently HHH is really taking the lead booking the PPV alongside Stephanie and he has made sure Nash is going to make it fun again.

My fantasy card would look something like:

Punk (c) vs Austin for WWE title, Punk retains in extremely close back and forth match, oh hell yes)

Ziggler (c) vs The Ryback for WHC, Ziggler holds from TLC or RR through to WM, The Ryback wins the Royal Rumble, The Ryback new champ

Barrett (c) vs (face) Mark Henry for the IC title, Henry goes over freeing up Barrett to go main eventing

Bryan and Rollins* (c) vs Ambrose and Reigns vs Rhodes Scholars vs Sinsterio in a four corner elimination for the tag titles with Bryan and Rollins retaining

Brock vs Rock for loser and winner leaves town until Summerslam match

Taker vs Cena

The rest I dont really care about. Chuck them in random feuds.

* Rollins, Reigns and Ambrose injure Kane in a long feud injuring Kane before their match which they won a number 1 contenders for, Kane says he will find him a new partner as he owes him that much because Bryan is the tag team champions, Rollins feels bad at the lengths they went to so Ambrose and Reigns tell him to stay backstage because if he cant come to terms with it he cant share in their glory, match starts with no partner, Bryan gets worked over in a 2 on 1, Rollins walks out after a short while, Ambrose and Reigns notice and celebrate they are united again then look confused when Rollins hops up on the apron in Bryans corner and calls for the tag. ROH fans cream their pants.

I don't like it but I predict Punk over Taker at WM.

i'm leaving scsa off wm so far because i think it's pretty damn unlikely. i also came up with undertaker facing cena in a few scenarios while thinking about it but that leaves punk nothing if that happens...

OK, if we can discuss rumours then a huge one is that Undertaker may miss the PPV for health reasons. While he plans to do a couple more Manias the 2013 one may be the first he has missed since like 2000.

I've heard the same and that he may not be interested in performing anyways. Incidentally this is the first Wrestlemania in a while that has more than enough star power to work without using the streak to build it up. Also with already having got 20 I doubt there's as much pressure from Vince to do it as the previous 3-4 years. I'd love to see UT at WM so I'm def. rooting for a match.

particularly as ziggy will likely be face come mania

kofi should be in us champ match or tag match... kind of sucks that truth/kofi still hasnt split tho

plenty of people shouldn't be winning the rumble yet but do because mcmahon or mcmahon-in-law are huge on them (see: del rio, albreto. sheamus)

ryback winning the rumble certainly a hilariously possible alternative to cena/rock winning the rumble. even more hilarious if it's to have ryback/punk at WM as a culmination of getting screwed out of the title month in and month out

If Punk/Rock goes on before the Royal Rumble match I would bet a good amount of money that whoever loses wins the rumble. Rock winning the rumble would be a good way of booking him to be in the championship match at Wrestlemania since he wont be on tv every week.

Having said that, I'm calling Ryback/Big Show for the WHC now. I have faith he can put Show in a muscle buster and hit it.

and i like that prediction a lot but i doubt it will be for the belt at that point.

My only prediction is that if Taker isn't given Cena or Punk as his opponent, he won't be on the card (and shouldn't be).

Ryback's entire offense would be so bad vs Show that I don't think they'd do that match at a major ppv. Only if Ryback could pull off what Lesnar did at SSeries 2002 should it be a possibility of them meeting.

It's very unlikely to happen, but Bryan/Lesnar could easily be a 5 star match. Their styles just mesh so well, with the proper build it could be an amazing fued.

Would be similar to the highly praised Morishima match. I also thought maybe Bryan could be one of the very few to take on Taker and make it a good match but I think that's an incredibly far stretch.

Taker would never face Bryan, as over he is, he is of zero credibility to The Streak, however awesome a match it would be (and could be an awesome angle if HBK manages him for it, to get revenge on UT)
