I'm like 99% sure that Dan was suggesting that we draft cards, I'm just following through on the idea. Basically anything except weeklies counts. (I guess we could include them if people want though). Plus we've already done a couple of match drafts before.

I'll get the thread up and start the draft in a few hours when I get home. If we don't get to 10 then we'll just go with 8 or 9.

Please give thoughts on whether weeklies should be included, and whether or not pre-80s stuff should be included. As it stands the answers are no and no, but I'm happy to go with the consensus.

Estimated time of the thread going up is about 8 or 9 hours. Happy to take two more entrants before then.

Had a change of plan so the draft will probably start earlier than previously stated. I'll still leave it a few hours though in case anyone else wants to enter.

Current plan is:

- ABBABAB draft format
- cards from 1980 onwards eligible
- weekly shows not eligible. SNME/COTC etc eligible
- all US companies eligible. Rest of the world not

I'm afraid you're going to have to be more specific. If you're unsure if something is eligible and don't want to mention it then just wait until you want to pick it and I'll arbitrarily decide whether it should be allowed or not.

Btw the 80s onwards rule was because I imagine most people (myself included) won't have seen many - if any - shows from before then. But I guess there's no reason they shouldn't be available, just keep in mind that they probably won't be received very well unless you can make a great argument for the pick.

Yeah I agree with this. Tough to impress the judges (ourselves) when the others haven't seen your card, but people should be able to go ahead and knock themselves out with the early stuff IMO.

I think I know what you are referring to. This card was co-promoted by a big us company and a big Japanese company.

I'm gonna make a concentrated effort to be semi-balanced between eras so I might not snipe you too many times. There's going to be a bit of personal bias toward 80's and 90's shows that others might not have any interest in.

I guess we could look at it as if we are all companies putting on these "Supercards" over a one or two year period. I don't really think they should have to flow with each other though else it limits the selections too much. It's really just to make the "best" selection of shows.
