What About Bob was my favorite movie throughout childhood, and within the past couple of years I got together with law school friends and watched it and we all still thought it was great.

It has the unfortunate 80's comedy feel (despite being released in 1990) but it's great anyway.

That's likely next up in my queue after I finish S3 of Archer. I've yet to see a terrible Kevin Spacey show/film (though I wouldn't call Horrible Bosses a masterpiece)

I don't see anywhere in Indy that offers stand-up classes, but there are places to take improv comedy classes, LKJ (then again, I imagine you doing improv is as likely as a Cena heel turn at this point)

I don't know about "terrible," but K-Pax was pretty bad. Spacey is generally very good though.

I hadn't even heard of House of Lies, though I very much enjoy Don Cheadle. House of Cards has a significantly higher IMDb rating as one point of comparison.

I blew through the whole first season in less than a week. Couldn't stop watching. It continues delivering as well as it starts out, at least for this first season.

So deflated to lose our sketch comedy competition tonight. The winner is based on audience voting, I had 3 friends who got turned away at the door since it was sold-out, and 6 friends of a teammate of mine bought tickets and no-showed (and they refused to fill the seats). We lost by 2 votes. Felt a lot like this...

I tried watching a Charlie Chaplin movie (City Lights). I can't do it. I love old movies, but the strong reliance on physical comedy is just too much for me to overcome.

Do you feel the same about Buster Keaton Jr. films as well? What about talkies like Marx Bros. and 3 Stooges? I do believe you need to readjust your comedic standards to watch things that old in terms of expectations, but I find the characters in those films far more likable than say, anyone in The Hangover, and that helps me laugh more.

I don't know that I've seen any Buster Keaton Jr., but yes I feel likewise about the Marx Brothers and Three Stooges.

I really do think that Golden Age comedy can be great too. James Stewart's Harvey is in my personal top 20 of all time. Bringing Up Baby is very funny.

So I'm running the Boston Marathon on Monday for the first time in 11 years. Have a legit shot to break 3:00. Anyway, in 2001 I wore my "It's True" Kurt Angle T shirt, which was a huge hit with the crowd. Any ideas for a wrestling-related expression to write on my arms that the crowd might respond to? Was thinking "Yes! Yes! Yes!" It's sort of hard to write out the Fandango theme.
