When Hogan got interviewed on WWE Network before the HOF he brought up the fact that as Host he can change the rules as he sees fit. Gotta think that means the main event will be fatal 4 way.

Hall in the battle royal would suck for me. His style is one of the greatest of all time and seeing an old, fat and slower version of it isn't going to help anyone. I'd prefer him to just throw his toothpick at someone in a backstage segment.

Having the royal rumble countdown, and then all of the focus for a few seconds/minutes on one particular individual lends itself really well to a surprise entrant.

I feel like a surprise entrant(s) wouldn't work nearly as well in a battle royal.

Taker or Bryan losing would be pretty bad, but by the book straight up wins for both might also be too predictable and boring. Hoping they can find creative ways to get us there that don't turn into a mess. That and the unpredictability they can pull out of the rest of the card is what will make or break this show. I really don't want to see Hogan get involved in the Main Event, although I wouldn't mind if Bryan winds up with an unforeseen ally (Shield?)

Taker winning as he always does (after a ****ty finisherfest) is absolutely what will happen. There will be no creativity.

Bryan winning it all is predictable, but people are just getting greedy in raising that as a complaint.

Here's how the Taker match is actually interesting: Brock works so stiff that he kills Taker. This might be a tough match for him to get through.

And in no way do I not think Bryan winning isn't the right move despite predictability. I just want them to make it interesting. Find some way to make me doubt it.
