Austin guest reffing the main event.

Considering he hasn't made an appearance in WWE for years and his eventual return was always going to be a really big deal, this is a bit of a waste IMO. When The Rock showed up on Raw after 7 years, it created a huge buzz. In contrast, I couldn't care less if Austin shows up at WM30 as just another 'guest'. There are already a million things going on. When he returns, it should at a time and place where he is the centrepiece of the show.

Put it this way. Austin spends a lot of time hunting deer on the broken skull ranch. Let's assume a WWE show is a meal, and Austin is Venison. Austin should be served as the main course in a 3 course meal. That's how he should best be enjoyed and appreciated. As it is, he's going to be the desert at the end of a 10 course meal. You're already full and you won't appreciate him in the same way. Austin should be the main course.

Umm the main course should probably still be someone who can wrestle.

WWE is threatening to toss anyone who starts any disrespectful chants at HOF. Wonder if they send out this warning every year or it's due to the way some were treated last year. Was at the Garden last year. Some of it was just in fun (the Trish stuff), but the Maria whatever-her-name was treatment really pissed off some people and I blame WWE more for putting her in that position. What are they gonna do if a chant starts though? Toss the entire building?

it's totally the wwe's fault for treating the hof show like it's some mainstream event where people will politely golf clap any minor celebrity they trot out for blatant media pandering. they're wrestling fans that are there to see wrestlers, and they're not going to appreciate the show being dragged out so wwe gets mentioned on tmz

Punk won't be there. WWE wants to do a segment celebrating Austin/Hogan/Cena together as the main faces of WWE over the years.
