Back in the waning days of WCW, when it actually started to get interesting, Nash was the coach of the Natural Born Thrillers...which IMO was an awesome gimmick. I wouldn't mind something a role like that for Nash (going back to Russ's opinion that they need stables again) .

P.S. I was a huge Above Average Mike Sanders mark...I just wiki'ed him and apparantly he is a stand up comedian now.

Me too. I about died the first time I heard that his finisher was coined "3.0."

You know that he works for TNA, right? So presumably you can still watch him. He also had a main event run in WWE a few years ago.

Yes I do and his main event run in WWE was 13 years ago. I meant if WWE got him, he'd be good for that

I'd be OK with Nash as long as he's not wrestling. He's a pretty smart guy.

Also I believe there is a 3-hour RAW scheduled for the day before the NFL Draft which I assume was scheduled for the Draft Lottery. Hopefully this year's lottery isn't worthless like last year.

I watched a shoot interview with Nash awhile ago. He's definitely a smart guy with good ideas about the business. Obviously he's going to defend himself, but a lot of the problems that went on during his run as the booker didn't really seem like his fault.

Nash 03 return to WWE

Nash Shoot Interview

Nash is hilarious. The PCS stuff and Backlund stuff for TNA were both really funny.

Agree that Nash is great on the mic from what I've seen (I wasn't a fan at his peak). Beyond him specifically, the WWE just needs to move away from Vince's lust for 6-7 plus guys with limited movesets.

The "Big Guys" should be beasts like Brock Lenser, not immobile guys like Nash/Taker/Show whatever.

I saw that Nash shoot interview too. Agree that he came off as pretty smart & down to earth. The only "lol wtf" part was when he claimed to have no booking responsibilities for the Goldberg match & then took credit for "the fingerpoke of doom" the following night.

I miss the wrestling forum. We should perhaps keep this thread active for wrestling talk.

I'm as big a Jericho mark as there is and was kind of sad they were just going to job him to C.M. Punk tonight... but a clean win? Solid match, but what is their plan with C.M. Punk exactly? Jericho must have more pull in booking than I thought, because giving him a clean win over Punk makes absolutely no freaking sense.

Haha, "you can't wrestle" chant for the Great Khali... Big Show is a face now? Also microphone picks up show saying, "I will **** you up."

Sounds nice, but how good are Santino's in-ring skills? I can't really remember him wrestling a meaningful match.

Just saw it. Flair HBK was awesome, MITB was awesome, Edge vs. Taker was really good, HHH vs. Orton vs. Cena was meh, Chavo vs. Kane was ******ed, Umaga Batista, Findlay Bradshaw, Floyd Big Show and Bunny mania were basically what I expected. Also I think it's pretty easy to retrospectively say Flair vs. HBK should have been the Main Event, but the match was much better than I think almost anyone expected.

Punk's kind of new, he's only been in WWE for a year. He has a decent following from the indies and the WWE ECW (when he was chasing Morrison), but he's not over enough to win a major title, and imo a lot of people would get upset backstage if they started pushing the new guy to the main event scene. So I'd like to see how they are going to book him with the MiTB.

Excellent finish to the show, I hope all the people who knew Flair in his hey-day got to see that.
