we've heard from multiple sources today that TNA and former WWE Women's champion Mickie James have come to terms and if they haven't already, will be signing a deal shortly.

Sources indicate TNA President Dixie Carter personally signed James, who is expected to debut next month, likely on the 10/7 live Impact or 10/10 Bound for Glory PPV.

So, this explains who the major force behind Abyss is who is coming to take over. Mickie.

Just heard ...

First main injury I could remember in Christian's career and just when he was getting pushed in a feud with Alberto Del Rio.

Samoa Joe vs. Necro Butcher has awesome Punk commentary and is a stupidly stiff match. 7:50 is the ugliest bump I've ever seen.

How do you powerslam somebody on their forehead?

RIP Giant Gonzales

Too bad. I mean, he was an awful wrestler and his one big PPV match with the Undertaker was brutal, but it's a shame for guys like him who are just born to be freakishly big to not really have much of a chance at a long life. Unlike some guys like Yokozuna who obviously contributed quite a bit to their own demise, this guy just kind of got dealt a bad hand as far as I can see.

Chloroform? lol I still think he's significantly better than Khali from watching. Also Undertaker looks tiny!

WM 9 was awesome. JR in a Toga! Multiple Doinks! Hogan ****ting on WWF. Wheeeee!

Khali at least looks like a guy who would be tough to bring down, without having to wear an outfit of painted muscles to cover up that he's slight as hell. He and Gonzalez were kind of the same overall to me, I guess. I don't remember Gonzalez doing any real moves either. It was pretty awe-inspiring to see The Undertaker look so small by comparison though.

As to WM 9, HBK vs. Tatanka was pretty good. Unless my memory fails me, that was the extent of the good on that show.

Luger/Perfect is also ok, but yeah, 9 is without a doubt the worst WM ever.

Also, seems like most of you don't know there was a rematch at Summerslam between Taker and Gonzales. Believe it or not, it's actually worse than the first one.

Luger/Perfect crossed my mind. Wasn't awful, but bugged me that they put Luger over in that match since I was a huge Perfect fan.

WM 9 was excruciating in every single sense of the word.

Then Hogan decided he didn't want to drop the belt to Bret at Summerslam. God, that whole year sucked, and Hogan can **** off.

(Well, OK, Bret's King of the Ring effort was great.)

Well, Vince deserves a lot of the blame because for some reason he didn't feel like his wrestlers at the time were good enough to carry the company, which was incredibly stupid in hindsight. Luger, Yoko, and Razor as the main event heels and Hart, Perfect, and Undertaker as main event faces would have made some really good shows. Keeping Savage in the ring wouldn't have hurt either, and HBK could have carried the midcard, like Savage did in the 80s.

Come on guys, WM11 was clearly the worst WM of all-time.

The only decent undercard match was Bret Hart vs. Bob Backlund I Quit match and that was the blow-off match.

The main event was freakin Lawrence Taylor vs. Bam Bam Bigelow for god's sake. Also a very mediocre HBK vs. Diesel WWF Title match. Undertaker vs. King Kong Bundy,.

WM9 was disappointing, but at least the Doink match was fun, and Hogan went over with an unexpected title win (which was awesome at the time since most of us didn't know any better).

I would agree with WM XI being worse than WM IX.

I would not agree with Hogan's unexpected title win being awesome at the time, even as a little kid I was going "WTF? Really?"

Hey, we need judges!

Here were da rulez:
Quote:
antidan and I will be drafting dueling wrestling cards. Our 'player pool', so to speak, will be any match from any Wrestlemania. We'll get the match as it happened, no rewriting of endings, no changes. We're trying to put together, in a sense, the ultimate WrestleMania.

Here's the caveat. Because this will operate like an actual wrestling card, you may only use a wrestler once. The same wrestler can appear on both of our cards, but not twice (in a match) in the same night.

For example, let's say Sting faced Harley Race at WM 12 and 14. If I take their WM 12 match, I can't take their WM 14 match and I also can't take Sting vs Lex Luger from WM 13, because he's already fighting that night. You can take their WM 14 match if you wanted to.

There's no time limit on the event, so that's not a concern. We will have seven matches, there has to be at least one tag match, the order is ABBA BABA BABA BA and antidan will go first.
Scrap the 'tag match' part.

Here are his selections (this is how the card will go, not how it was picked):

Just my opinion:

Opener: Me.
Second: Me.
Third: You.
Fourth: You.
Fifth: God, do I really think TLC is better than Shawn/Bret?!? I kinda do. That's sick.
Sixth: You.
Main Event: You.

dan's card is stronger in terms of historical matches, but jefe takes it on match quality (and providing links )

I'd not want to ever watch either Hogan match but the Andre match is > Warrior for history.

Taker HHH is kind of a weak pick imo but I haven't seen that since it happened.

TLC 2 is sick.

Watching Taker/Shawn again now for the nth time.

No Shawn/Razor ladder match?
