Edge/Cena was really good. Match of the night. Didn't love the ending, it guarantees that we're going to be "treated" to Cena/Big Show, but whatever. Glad to see the belt back on Edge.

I don't understand why they let Orton use the kick as a "devastating" move because it's clearly ******ed. Would have been nice if Orton through the ring steps in HHHs face instead as in edge/cena.

decent ppv, before it started i envisioned a christian run in at the end, and those ****ers teased me with a little edge/chris interaction crowd was hot for orton which makes me happy. cm punk loss /hardys/big show all sucked big donkey dick.

As great of a heel as Christian is, he fills their current need for a top face (albeit sadly, just on ECW). The current top heels (Jericho, Edge, Orton) are great, but especially now with HHH and potentially Cena out of action for the time being...who are the new champions going to feud with?

Sadly, there's no way around Orton vs. Batista being the next WWE title feud. The candidates for a top-card feud with Edge are...who? Punk, who they just buried tonight for some reason; Jeff Hardy, who Edge just finished feuding with a few months ago; Undertaker is possible I guess. That's about it.

Almost def. CM with the next ppv being in Chicago.

I see Kane trying to lay claim he should get a shot at MITB and that's when CM Punk goes over him clean. Remember, previous winners Mr. Kennedy and RVD defended the briefcase.

I do hate the way they pussify cool heels trying to turn face these days. Kennedy and now MVP slapping hands with the fans running down the aisle is real lame and just forces the moment. Rock and Austin never did that in their initial face runs, and hardly ever.

What the hell? Miz and MVP delivering solid promos in the face of main eventers? Who killed Vince?

Rock and Austin did pander with sing-along nonsense with the fans though. Down with ALL sing-alongs. I hate that crap.

The sing-along stuff is good though, it keeps the fans interested. Even stupid **** like what the New Age Outlawz and Konnan did at least kept the live crowd awake even though their acts were totally lame and gay. Slapping hands at ringside is just cheeseball stuff that people hate. Note that they had Rock do that when he first came up and had that "please like me" vibe and people naturally drifted towards hating him. It's not exactly X-Pac Heat but its just about the closest thing to it.

I can't defend slapping hands, that is indeed stupid.

Granted that a lot of people must like the sing-along stuff since it seems to have thrived, but I still hate it. The likes of Hogan and Warrior were able to get the crowd riled without it, so I don't know how necessary it is to keeping a crowd up.

I know that every wrestler who utilizes it drops a notch or two in my eyes, but I also understand that fans like me aren't really paying the bills for Vince and Co.

Yeah, beat Cena at ONS 2006 but then got pulled over soon after on pot.

No kidding, those ****ers teased the **** outta me. I was really waiting for a Christian run in at the end during Cena/Edge. They should've ended the show with Christian and Edge forming DX 2009. Would've been way more epic than having the big show run in.

I must admit though, I got such a big kick outta the crowd singing goodbye while HHH is on the stretcher. Great crowd.

Santino was fantastic. I was laughing so hard when they pulled the rib on JR. Clearly JR did not know he was going to be the butt of the joke. He was not pleased while Lawler was cracking up legit. JR was stonefaced and didn't know what to say and when they had their fun they moved on. I thought this was great.

Thank God he didn't have to get in the ring and kiss Santina, though it wouldn't be as bad as the time he had to kiss Vince's ass

So on Smackdown, Jericho, Jeff Hardy, Mysterio, Morrison, and Khali are in a scramble match for number one contendership.

I'm pleasantly surprised they included Morrison over Shelton and Knox, but I wonder what they're doing with Undertaker? Obviously Kane will be presumably working something with C.M. Punk.

Obviously Mysterio and Hardy are the guys to go over in this match, Jeff had his feud with Edge cut short at Royal Rumble for that program with Matt, and Rey put up a great performance as the final two in the elimination chamber at No Way Out. Ultimately, I think Jeff goes over as I think Jericho and Mysterio have been building to a program for a while.

Some possible matches for Judgment Day:

Edge v. Jeff Hardy World Heavyweight Championship
Orton v. Batista WWE Championship
C.M. Punk v. Kane MITB Defense
Jericho v. Mysterio IC Championship (I'd love if it was a triple threat with Morrison though.)

If Jeff signs a new deal I think you're right. He's 100% winning that scramble match and likely beating Edge for a lengthy title run.

If Jeff doesn't sign and plans on leaving WWE, I think they give the spot to Jericho. Jeff would then have a match with Matt who will do something crazy to put Jeff away for good.

They've been setting it up so that Matt erases Jeff from the WWE forever. This gives WWE an out to explain why Jeff won't be wrestling for them anymore.

After reading the spoilers I'm pumped to watch Smackdown for the first time in a long time. Hopefully I don't forget, I always think of it at like half past ten on Friday.
