Lol that show was so surreal, HHH talking in a high pitched voice for steph's words was lol, that was pretty much the start of HHH becoming a feasable star in the WWE, they pretty much cruelly dumped Test after that storyline and left him to rot as all the crowd could ever feel for him was pity.

Pretty disappointed with WM25 lineup and promos so far, but the spotfest that is the MITB will still be awesome. Morrisons backflip of the top turnbuckle with the ladder was easily the sickest spot of last years WM, and for him(being in my opinion an underrated, even arguably underhyped wrestler) to be pretty much left on the sidelines whilst Finlay makes the match is pretty silly. Only reason Finlay is in the match is so they can probably set up some silly spot(s) with hornswoggle. Henry and Kane are likely gonna be used as big cushions and not much more, although i expect Kane to do one decent spot as he does have it in him.

The Hardy match will definitely be a great match, they've only had their whole lives to plan this match, Matt just needs to bring some mega heat onto himself, Jeff Hardy is easily being one of the best match storytellers since Bret Hart imo, but sadly this is often hidden because most of his matches are often spotfests(which is understandable, considering thats what made him a fan favourite), but storytelling before the match is not his strongest point, which is why they need to use Matt alot better, he's been a pretty slowburner up til now. This is Matt vs Jeff FFS, i know its gonna be awesome so why am i not as excited as i should be yet? The promo for the match on smackdown was pretty crap. I also don't think it's going too left field to not expect this to be a straight match, expect this match to be at least no DQ, first blood, cage etc. Maybe they'll wrestle on a big trampoline i dunno, could be wrong about that one. If Matt can do a decent enough job getting heat in the next few promos, then i expect him to win, solely due to echoes of Bret/Owen, and i expect Jeff has no problem putting over Matt.

JBL vs RMJ

Snore, hate JBL, shoulda stayed retired, not interested in anything this guy does. Match will be as good as RMJ makes it tbh. In my opinion a RMJ vs John Morrison match would've been way better.

HBK vs UT

Great Booking. Promos are pretty good(when they dont include koslov) and have potential to get alot better. Glad the outcome of a UT match cant be taken for granted this year.

Edge vs Cena vs BS

Dont like Cena or BS, therefore hope Edge wins, but not saying he will. Vickie G will have a say on the outcome of this match LDO, most probably mistakenly helping Cena win, sigh.

HHH vs RO

Whatever, completely ambivalent on the outcome. Obviously expect a professional performance from both. Cant say ive ever warmed to HHH completely, i really think he's overhyped(i wonder why?), not saying i dislike him or anything, i just find him a bit laughable when he gets his sledgehammer out.

Sorry for the long(ish) post full of rambling subjective opinions, but 100th post, so i had to make some effort.

Test was never great, and his most notable victory is probably banging Stacey Keibler, but that's ****ty.

edit it seems that the RMJ match vs JBL ain't official, just a rumour, my comments on jbl still stand though.

I had no idea who RMJ was either until I looked over the RAW roster. Rumor is JBL is planning retirement so he may challenge Rey to some kind of retirement match since they've had a rivalry.

I still find it hilarious that Koko B. Ware is being inducted into any HoF. I keep thinking its going to be some kind of angle. Rumor is it was pitched as a joke to Vince who went with it.

That is a greater victory than many of us will ever attain...

I admit I didn't care much when I saw the news about Test, wrestlers dying young has become so commonplace that it seems that I only care when I found the wrestler entertaining (not the case with Test). Sucks that the life expectancy for wrestlers seems to truly be a lot less than most people.

Damn RIP Test. I always thought he was decent and underused.

Jericho vs Snuka/Piper/Steamboat?

I have a feeling that my earlier prediction of Jericho being "confronted" looks more promising. Steamboat may be able to do some work in the ring but Snuka and Piper are cripples, no way they do anything. I think Jericho will beat on the three of them for awhile, humiliate them, etc., then Flair/Rourke make the hero save and fight him off.

And it will be the worst Wrestlemania segment ever.

I wonder, if in like 20 years, if the new age guys will be running these gimmicks with Val Venis, Rikishi, and Marc Mero.

I just hope Vickie tells Jericho he can't just make Wrestlemania matches and books the gauntlet match for next week. Jericho beats Snuka pretty quick, puts on a decent match with Steamboat and then as he's getting started with Piper, his Wrestlemania opponent interferes and gives Piper the win.

Can we have Mark Henry get booted and insert Evan Bourne in MITB? And maybe get rid of Kane/Finlay and put in John Morrison?

And re: tonight's main event, odds on Edge spearing Vickie Guerrero as Cena gets out of the way?

Couldn't they have just paid Austin the same amount they paid Floyd Mayweather to have one last match with Jericho instead of this steaming pile of crap? Poor Jericho, goes from feud of the year to wrestling 60-year-old's at the biggest show of the year.

Austin's health is supposed to be really bad. Another match and his knees/back/neck could become much worse.

Yeah but almost anything's gotta be better than a gauntlet of old.

FWIW, the Jericho match isn't on the website yet, and normally when this stuff gets announced they're pretty quick to post it. Doesn't mean it isn't the actual match, but there's still a chance for this show to improve.

I'm about the complete opposite of excited for the Jericho angle though. Or pretty much any of them. Hope the next couple weeks help this card improve, but I'm not really expecting much right now. Pretty much banking on the HHH/Orton and HBK/Taker matches to get it going. Matt vs. Jeff could have been good but I caught their promo from Smackdown this past week and they not only had no heat from the fans but their interaction on the mic was just crap. Hopefully the match itself is better than the hype.
