Thinking strongly about going to wrestlemania this year. 1st time going I have never even looked into tickets. How hard would it be to get tickets and what is the typical cost?

Depends on how close you want to get. We were in the middle of the dome last year on the 50, and were about 300 each.

Well my gf's daughter started watching wrestling this year and she is hooked. Would like to get as close as possible. Hoping to spend less than a grand a piece

I like DDP's theory that he might somehow be the patient zero who popularized hugging. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkijw4HEYZo&t=96s

EVERYBODY hugs now.

Even if I somehow popularized it, it wouldn't be something I'd brag about because I'd be self aware of what a tool I'd be if I bragged about something so stupid. Needs some self awareness.

Yeah, he seems like an awesome guy in general so I'd sooner look the other way, but that clip was so WTF that I had to rewatch it to make sure that he actually just said what I thought he said.

For those interested (And there may not be a lot, admittedly) The Last Podcast on the Left released an episode on Chris Benoit. Elevator pitch for the show is 3 guys sit around and tell jokes about famous killers and horror situations. So, a comedy podcast about real life murders. Its... an odd concept but it generally works pretty well. I haven't listened to the Benoit episode yet but will soon.

Made me feel a little better that this was 6 years ago.

This is something that you could in no way get away with today. And honestly I have no idea how they got away with it 20 years ago.

Did a rendition of Dusty Rhodes' "Hard Times" promo for a monodrama piece at Toastmasters, it got legit pops (also, a Southern accent with a heavy lisp is about the only decent impression I can do)

Anyone want to be a mod? PJ isn't always here and would be good to have another just in case. I don't want to do it but I'll go into ATF and nominate a regular if they want it.

What a dick!

Also I was never told a word about EMC leaving, just removed his name one day. Does it really seem like we need more? Were pretty well self contained

haha that wasn't a knock on you, I'm happy for you to be the only one. We probably don't need more, the Heenan title was the only thing that made me think of it. I can't remember a single other time we've needed a mod, I just brought it up anyway.

LKJ could be a good figure head as mod. Maybe even Judy.
