Omega won't sign with the WWE unless they give him some insane deal. He is living his dream right now in Japan. I'm a big Omega fan too so I'd hate to see him sign with the WWE because they would gimp him like they do everyone else. Nakamura signing with them would also be depressing.
Omega living up to his name there, 'resisting' the temptation to sign cheap. Get it? Man I'm wasted here.
I wonder if Vince has seen Omega doing John Jangle Jingle Heimer Schmidt, thumb wrestling, and having an arm wrestling match in a match with Bryan in PWG...if so, the future is bleak for Mr. Omega.
1. If I saw that list of IC title holders two years ago I'd assume the IC title was a prestigious title again.
2. With this list of people it would look like they were building new stars (lesnar really being the only older guy in wwe terms on the list), yet we're heading into the rumble where nobody is remotely credible enough to win the rumble except for cena/reigns/part-timers.
So I guess my question is, what the ****? I don't even know how to word it differently.
The owner of the company buried the importance of titles on a shoot interview on his own Network. The booking of both championships often fails to make them important. The announcing generally lacks credibility and passion; it is no different for title changes and talking about the prestige of titles. Taken together, titles don't really elevate wrestlers in the hearts of most people. If the company doesn't even treat its own titles as important, why would others outside treat them as important?
I'd never heard this before a few seconds ago. What the **** is this? Please don't explain what it is in a literal sense!
Yeah that takes some serious ego--"Hey 3,000 dead Americans...I can empathize because my dad was once accused of peddling illegal steroids to his workers!"
On a semi-related note, the Unforgiven PPV right after 9-11 is a personal favorite of mine (I'm originally from Pittsburgh and loved seeing Kurt Angle beat SCSA for the title there, especially with the patriotic overtones that somehow managed to escape being over the top).
