So Mick Foley is doing his "Tales from Wrestling Past" at a pretty new dive comedy club about 15 minutes from me (Winston-Salem) tomorrow night. I seriously think that the biggest name they've ever had is Jimmy (JJ) Walker, so I don't really see a huge turnout. It's $25 a pop. Should I check it out?

I went to one in England last year, it was awesome. My girlfriend bought the tickets for my birthday which included the meet and greet, which wasn't actually that great, just kinda shuffled everyone along then sat next to him for like 10 secs or so and took a pic. He couldn't even look at the camera/flash due to his head injuries.

Comedy/stories were great though, definitely should go.

Thanks guys. I just purchased tix. They are only selling 140 per show. I got the 56th and 57th for the 8:00. Only 20 or so have sold for the 10:00. I figured there would be more response. I guess it's just the lack of marketing. The reservation line for the comedy club is a guy's cell phone.

Will prob do a TR.

I went to Mick's early show last night. I would highly recommend. The guy is just a natural storyteller. I laughed the whole time. I would say the highlight for me was his Jim Cornette impression.

It ended up being totally sold out. It was all general admission, but we somehow got front row seats. He asked me to open his water bottle mid-show because he didn't want to look awkward trying to open it while holding the mic.
