NWO yah. DX merchandising I don't think took off until they turned in the "Nation of Domination" feud, but I'm not sure.

Do you ever see anyone over the age of 12 wearing any sort of WWE gear? I can't believe they make as much as they say they do on that stuff.

I had a XL Monday Night Jericho shirt 10 years ago. Wish I could find it now.

Hasn't Jericho just been beating up on the upcoming hall of fame guys? AFAIK the only ones he hasn't touched yet are the Funks and SCSA. I think the Funks are going to be around at some point before WM and Jericho's going to attack them with garbage cans or barbed wire bats or whatever and then Stone Cold will come and set the match up for WM.

This would be very awesome, and if Austin were going to wrestle anyone (which I don't think he will, or even can) Jericho would be a good choice in terms of being very good technically (not going to drop him on his head).

But, as I related to earlier, I don't think SCSA will risk it. Even with the world's greatest performer (not saying Jericho is) there's a large risk with someone with his problems wrestling.

I just read there will be a 25-diva battle royal at WM. They are bringing in a bunch of divas from the past to fill the numbers.

I was away from wrasslin for a while right around the time he retired. what problems is he having? He had neck problems back then iirc, but I didn't think that's what forced him to retire?

Back, knee, etc. He isn't capable of wrestling on a somewhat regular basis, and there are risks w/ even doing one solid match.

Looks like Hogan might not be at WM25. Reports came out earlier that he just had back surgery and it will take about 6 weeks to recover.

Yeah came here to post this. I would not be surprised at all if Show gets pulled from this match after this, as Vince has a habit of changing up supposed "secret" storylines once word breaks. Of course he could have just thought that since nobody watches VH1 the news wouldn't get out.

That much was obvious after this week's Smackdown anyway though.

"They put out the word that 'Well, everybody figure out what we were gonna do.' Well ****, a 5yo blind kid with autism could figure out what they're gonna do from watching their television a lot these days."

Didn't Luger basically cost himself the title at WrestleMania X by running his mouth to the papers the night before?

Supposedly, he would have beaten Yokozuna in the first title match of the night. Then, he would have lost to Bret Hart in the last match. So, he would have been WWF champion for under three hours.

The hype machine around Luger starting in the summer of '93 was incredible. When it didn't pay off, he came across as the biggest main eventer flop ever.

MITB gets a little stronger... Either Jericho or Kofi will be in tonight (like 99.9% Kofi right?)

Also, ECW taped a battle royal for the last spot with the winner tagged below.

Spoiler:
Christian

Congrats to Koko B. Ware on being the first JTTS inducted in the HoF.

I liked this show-closing angle better when it was Austin-Pillman. That definitely had fewer pathetic actors in it.
