Btw, Batista is taking time off after Mania to film a movie and may be retiring when his contract expires (after Mania). He was talking about retirement about 9 months ago so its very possible.

Add that to the list of people taking time off after Mania at one point or another as:

Cena, Rey, Taker, HBK and Batista (Big Show probably needs time off for more knee surgery too)

Also after HBK takes time off if he doesnt retire straight away its expected he will retire at next year's Mania in a Flair like send off (probably by HHH) after a send off tour starting at Summerslam. Taker has been talking about retiring too as he is working in constant pain and will probably need more surgery after Mania.

Field is wide open after the draft for new champs imo.

I only caught the second hour or so, but the Springer in-ring segment (to me at least) kind of felt like the Attitude Era, just not in a very good way.

bet you eve kicks kelly kellys ass.
bet you its great khali. (great khali in eve doing it. ugh)

lol here comes mae young.(springer and mae doing it. ugh-est)

it was a funny segment, but a kindergardener could have wrote it.

The hosts for next week's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw will be singer Jewel and pro bull rider Ty Murray.
Hey guys, nothing says you have to have a guest host every week.

They really need to stop this guest host stuff it got old already. WWE missed a chance in having Flair as the permanent GM of Raw that would have been ideal. In fact the last time WWE was good was when Flair was in the part owner angle with Vince (stone cold was still in the wwe then).

Sucks to realize that Stephanie/HHH are going to have a creative/administrative hand in WWE for the next 30 years.

I think a wrestling/mma forum would be good. We can have threads for each federation /mma promotion. We have the wrestling draft in SE that could go there too

NXT show roster has been posted....
Spoiler:
WWE sources have told us that the following talents are scheduled to be a part of the NXT show, which will debut on Sy Fy in the current ECW timeslot next week.

FCW Champion: Justin Angel
Daniel Bryan
Kaval
Skip Sheffield
Joe Hennig
Brett Dibiase
Darren Young
Heath Slater
Michael Tarver

tbh I really don't know any of em, should be interesting to see the show and what they do...

Also, for ECW roster
Spoiler:
Sources in WWE indicate that after ECW ends tonight, Christian will end up on SmackDown, William Regal & Ezekiel Jackson will go to RAW as will Zack Ryder & Rosa Mendez while the team of Caylen Croft & Trent Baretta will also end up on SmackDown. It's still anyone's guess what the future will hold for people like Shelton Benjamin, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu, Vance Archer, Tiffany and Savananah, but they are all expected to stay on TV

I really hope Shelton stays on, add him to Raw, he should not be dropped, as shouldn't Archer, he's looked solid. Tatsu might go somewhere, but who knows what he'd do...
Goldust/Tiffany/Savannah I expect to be relealsed though.
Let's just hope the rest of em to where they're being moved have room for em, and they just don't get buried and dissapeared

Impact spoiler:
Spoiler:
I know right? He hasnt dont ANYTHING in his entire career to get the wins he has been since joining TNA.

NXT stuff (not gonna spoiler tag it because i cant see anyone caring tbh):
Daniel Bryan is Bryan Danielson of course. They have him on NXT to give "star power" to the new show. Frankly i will be watching just for him and Kaval and im sure a lot of others will too. He should easily bump the ratings at least half a point. The expectation is he is the first to move on from NXT in the draft after Mania.

Kaval is Low Ki or Senshi. There are tonnes of youtube vids of him. He has a great future despite being in FCW hell for a while but thats largely due to him picking up a career threatening injury about 18 months ago. I mean he prob wont be a world champ under Vince (but you never know, huge crowd reactions wont harm his chances) but id expect after the draft he will be moving on to the midcards and feud over the IC or US title with guys like Bourne (who fwiw is actually well liked but has just been lost in the shuffle when he got drafted to Raw).

As for the others i have less clue about. Joe Hennig has been making a name for himself on FCW but from what ive seen of him on youtube vids he doesnt look special at all, prob just another lifelong midcard guy. Largely the same with Justin Angel in that ive not seen much but what i have seen has been solid, he has a good mix of Punk style kicks and Rey style flying moves and seems to be pretty sound for technical wrestling too, being from South Africa helps a lot too and he certainly isnt making up the numbers, oh and his finisher is one of my personal faves. Again his size might hold him back a little, but we are getting into a new age of WWE where little guys are getting big pushes.

Of course Ted's brother Brett has a bright future, he has already had his PPV debut of sorts and just needs more maturing before a solid call up (having his brother at the main event level by that time will make it almost a lock he will get a solid programme out of the gate).

All in all im very excited to see what they do with NXT. As i understand it they will be doing more a reality TV style show so we will see lots of backstage stuff and learn about the wrestlers behind the gimmicks which will be great esp in getting them over for their actual call up. If nothing else having a home on TV to watch Bryan Danielson and Kaval week in week out will be great.

I think WWE under Steph, Hunter, HBK and Nash will be great personally.

Especially if there is viable competition forcing them to make the right decisions and not do stuff like strap Sheamus (which would have never in a million years have happened during the Monday Night Wars).

Too much is made of how they play politics. Its always been like that in this industry and they are no worse than Vince. The big difference is when you have had a career in the ring you arent going to have guys like Koslov pushed to main event status and flop against every single top guy you have before Vince realises he just isnt the next Brock and to stop pushing him so damn hard.

Also we will finally see the back of this midget and all the other PG bull**** Vince has been pushing. No way in hell HHH and HBK wanted to have the DX legacy linked to that little midget bastard.

In storyline, by putting Cena through a table at the TLC PPV. In reality, by bench pressing with HHH.

Joe Hennig is the son of MR perfect Curt Hennig, if he has half the charisma of his dad he could be a big star.

It shocks me everytime to see DX running out there with Hornswoggle. I would think, with the stroke those two possess, they would have squashed that Hornswoggle bull from the start.

Hennig had tons of back problems and could barely wrestle for long stretches.
